Pretty sure they have a chance at a nice comp pick in 2024 when he signs. Looking at the FAs along oline he’s one of the best so should get a nice contract

The only problem with that is that the number of Comp Picks in a year is capped at four.

Rodgers would not like the NY media.

If he didn't play well there the media would kill him.  It would be extremely entertaining at least.

I don't get the Rodgers hate. He's been fun to watch when he's not playing against us

I’m not advocating re-signing Edwards. I’m trying to understand why you would slide Elliss into the lineup at Mike.

Dean would probably be the MIKE.  Elliss would probably be the WIL.

Why are you so high on Elliss? He played in the Big Sky conference, went undrafted, signed by Minny…released and signed by us, released by us but brought back to the PS and then released 2 weeks later.

Goes to SF practice squad, released a week later.

Comes back to our PS. He played against Dal in the week 18 nothing game in 2021.

He then was elevated to active roster for the titans this year to play ST. He was good on ST.

That looks like the resume of ST contributor, but nothing indicates a starting LB

Cripes, ok, what makes you confident in Elliss at the Will?

Ellis will not be starting on this defense next year

If Leonhard gets the job... Which DT you taking in round 1 assuming Carter not available

damnit, he's unavailable.

My BIL grew up in northern Minnesota but is a Packers fan. All of his family members are Vikings fans.

I once was THIIIIIIIIISSSSSSSSSSSSSS close to ponying up the $$$ to get Brett Favre to do a cameo where he spent the minute video questioning\mocking this fact.  But then the weed wore off

Hurts agent would be a fool not to ask for at least 50. I understand that Hurts style of play scare some here bc of risk of injury but that same fear is why Hurts and his agent should try to get every dime they can get now. Hurts style of play, could make this his last opportunity, to maximize his worth.

No way should we pay 50

Why not? He's one of the best QBs in the league. Price will be pushing $60M for top QBs in a year or two.

Watching him talk is like watching a disheveled Bill Parcells and Fire Marshall Bill.

Where do you rank him?

I don't see Rodgers wanting anything to do with NYC life.  You wonder how much control he will have in where they trade him.  You would think all bets are off on an NFC trade.  I think it comes down to 2 teams.

Las Vegas to be reunited with Adams?   Close to Cali home.

Miami with Mike McDaniel and that offense, sunny state.

Why wouldn't he?  Dude's plastered all over State Farm commercials and he had his hat in the running for hosting Jeopardy.

Imagine what it would do for his stock if he goes into probably the largest media market in the world, and takes them on a legit Super Bowl run.  $$$$$$ for days.   And he's spent the last 10+ years playing in blizzards in GB - him having to go into Buffalo to beat Allen would be almost a home game for him.

It fits too perfectly.

Meanwhile Garoppolo has ties to McDaniels, and is the perfect bridge QB if LV goes quarterback early.  And all Miami has to do is pick up Tua's 5th year option and see how he does next year.  They might not have to make a big quarterback move at all.

Unfortunately, i don't see any of the 1st round QBs making it out of the top 10.  There's going to be a hodge podge of players available when the Eagles pick at 10 but no glaring must have player or position.  There are going to be OL, DL, DB, WR and RB available at 10.  It lines up for teams to be patient.

We should hope that Anthony Richardson doesn't go top 10 like I suggest and the Eagles move down with a team who thinks they can unlock his true potential.

Out of the top 10, Houston, Indy, Seattle, Las Vegas are 100% QB needy teams.  Atlanta and Carolina invested in QB last year and I think they let both develop.  Chicago and Arizona both have huge investments in young QB but neither seem to be comfortable but I think they both go defense.

1. Chicago- I can't see them giving up on Fields yet, unless some team blows them away with a trade offer for him.  Jalen Carter

2. Houston- Ryans needs a QB.  Stroud or Young

3. Arizona- Reports are Murray never plays a down for Gannon but who knows how accurate.  Do they go QB?  If Will Anderson is there, you have to think Reddick's success will weigh heavily.  Will Anderson

4. Indianapolis- Steichen is going to want a QB.  Who's left from Stroud or Young?

5. Seattle- Geno is a FA.  Will Levis

6. Detroit- Detroit is going to build knee cap biting DL adding Myles Murphy.

7. Las Vegas- They need a QB badly.  Raiders move would be Anthony Richardson.

8. Atlanta- Ridder has London and Pitts.  I think they go all out weapons and add Quinten Johnston

9. Carolina- Panthers have Matt Corral, who I think will be a steal from last year.  Did they learn from McCaffery?  Surprise, Bijan Robinson.

My take (provided there are zero trades which we know has a 0% chance of happening):

1. CHI - Jalen Carter, DI [consensus #1 choice]

2. HOU - Bryce Young, QB [they get their tiny QB]

3. ARZ - Will Anderson, EDGE [no brainer with Gannon at the helm]

4. IND - Will Levis, UK [surprisingly go Levis over Stroud]

5. SEA - Tyree Wilson, EDGE [#2 EDGE prospect]

6. DET - Devon Witherspoon, CB [desperately need a CB]

7. LV - CJ Stroud, QB [the #2 QB falls into their lap]

8. ATL - Anthony Richardson, QB [I love Ridder, but I think they're intrigued with this guy]

9. CAR - Quentin Johnson, WR [Corral gets the opportunity to fail]

10. PHI - That leaves us with the following as viable choices (though some are slight reaches IMO):

Christian Gonzalez, CB

Joey Porter, CB

Myles Murphy, EDGE

Lukas VanNess, EDGE

Calijah Kancey, DI

Paris Johnson, OT

Peter Skoronski, OT

Bryan Bresee, DI

Broderick Jones, OT

I eliminated WR, RB, S from being viable, but those would be Jordan Addison, Bijan Robinson, Brian Branch, Jaxon Smith-Njigba, Zay Flowers,

Jeremiah had Will Anderson falling to the Seahawks and not the first pass rusher off the board.

Had Eagles taking Witherspoon at 10. Not sure who I prefer, Porter Jr or Witherspoon. Like both a lot. Either of them plus Torrence at 30 would be an awesome day one if Seumalo leaves.

Witherspoon all day. Kid has the "dog mentality" in spades.
