Yeah I'm exaggerating obviously.  A team like the Lions with a great O and atrocious D should definitely shore up the defensive side enough to get into the playoffs.

Whereas for us, the D is good enough already so we need to prepare to win shootouts against guys like Mahomes.

Great trade by Howie to be 100% sure he gets his player.  Next year’s 4th round pick was of very little value to the Eagles.  Giving up next to nothing and getting something in return is a huge win.

For the record, I did not want Carter at all, but even less if it required a trade up.  But  Howie outsmarted me.  
 

With that said, having Davis and Carter taking snaps in front of Dean makes Dean a better player in my opinion. 
 

Now Nick and company need to bring out the best in Carter.  If they do I will be a very happy man.  99 redux has a really fine ring to it.
