At this point, with that many good choices on the board, you have to consider a trade down from someone who wants to take maybe a QB for the 5th year option and is willing to give up value to get there.

Eh horford isn’t what he once was and embiid has played well against Boston this year. Went for 50+. This is more he’s dealing with LCL and harden dealing with his injury. Frankly the sixers bench vs. Celtics bench is the biggest issue besides the injuries. Sixers bench besides melton is inconsistent whereas the Celtics bench consists of brogdon, white, Williams and Williams. 

I had an LCL stretch tear, between a Grade 1 and Grade 2 when I was in college. I probably could have played basketball but it would have impacted my jumping ability.  Embiid will play just fine.
