Hopefully the salary cap keeps going up by big amounts

It's a lot of money for one player.... But it's the right time to make the deal for the right player. They Eagles are locked in at QB. They won't be guessing at the most important position in football. It would cost them even more to make this deal if they waited another year or two.

Great news. Kudos to Howie. Now let's get to the draft and help the defense any way we can.

That’s his agent??!! Daayyuumm she is hott as hell.

Yeesh that is a TON of $$. Good for Jalen. Now go win a couple of Super Bowls please!!!!

Say hello to your franchise QB for the next 5 years! GO BIRDS!

I’ve had my doubts about Hurts in the past, with few doubts remaining, but I definitely feel he’s got a much better head on his shoulders than Wentz ever did.

No question!  Hurts has the exact mentality you want in your franchise QB.  I just hope he doesn't regress as a passer on the field.  No reason to think he will, but also can't act like he's always been a great passer so that part shouldn't be questioned.

McNabb and Wentz reading he has a no trade clause:

So much for hoping he'd sign a more team-friendly deal...

Well deserved, though. He didn't have to. I trust Howie structured it in a way that will keep talent around.

I don't understand why the shot at Mcnabb and Wentz. Doesn't even make sense since Wentz wanted out and Eagles wanted him to stay

Just a joke my man it's not that deep.

Once you see what Burrow gets it likely is team-friendly ;)

This year 5m against the cap, then 32m each for the next 2 years

The next 6 years… last year of the rookie deal +5 more.

That's a fantastic deal for this franchise, and Jalen could have (should have?) waited for a deal that would have paid him well into his 30s.  Mahomes deal will last until he's 36 (!).

I don't think he's worth 51 million, but we'll see. And a no trade? F that.

Yeah, no discount at all. That no trade is BS. This isn't baseball or hockey.

I don't like the no trade clause, let's hope we get the Jalen of 2022-23 for the next 5 years.

We all knew the price was going to be alot, I'm guessing Burrows and Herbert's deal exceed Jalen's and it's nice the front office got this done first.

It’s done. This is great news. Well played by all the parties. Now it’s time to go out and get a legit back to hand the ball off to and stop running our best player into the ground.

Now that this domino fell there is only one logical question to ask:

Where will Wentz land?

2027 = 5

2028 = 6 yearzzzz FTWzzzz
