That's a great way to frame it.  It's like the lazy writing in Law and Order episodes where the prosecutor says, "Clearly the defendant was too STUPID to commit this murder."  And the defendant is like "Stupid?! It was a brilliant murder. My best murder ever!"

Don, bro, you know this lady's goal was to bait you and make you look unstable, right?

If SnL does a sketch on it, Will Ferrell could play Trump. It was that absurd.

i'm not sure what's more enjoyable, trump and his cucks being upset that his lies were called out, or the claim that cat memes are turning the tide in bottomdonny's favor.

So I guess fact checking during a debate was in fact NOT really a thing before last night and ABC themselves put it into place after the debate started and after being non committal to it beforehand.  Moderators have a job. Moderate. Not participate.  Period. Participation has led to issues in the past which is why it stopped.  From CNN....

You guys all die on the dumbest of hills. You can't admit to being duped so you let a moron Trump back you into a corner of defending "illegal immigrants from Haiti are eating your dogs!"

Your reading comprehension never ceases to amaze me so I’ll explain it nice and slow for you.

I wasn’t "duped” by anything. I said I’m not of the belief that Haitians are breaking into peoples’ homes and barbecuing their cats and dogs and I know that’s an exaggeration by Trump. I said that there has been outcry by the community in Springfield at town hall meetings about uncivilized and reckless behavior by migrants. Police calls and recordings about people decapitating geese/ducks and eating them. Reckless driving by people who probably aren’t qualified to be behind a vehicle. These are all facts whether your brain wants to accept it or not.

Muir said last night there have been no claims about dogs or cats being eaten. That’s great, so case closed? Is that the only thing people should be concerned about? What about the other issues that the citizens of that community have brought up?

We’re probably two weeks away from articles titled "Why it’s okay to gut and eat geese on the sidewalks and if you disagree you’re a xenophobe” and you minions will eat it up.

I heard MAGA's been roaming the streets of Springfield and raping dogs.  Prove me wrong.

You literally said they were police reports of them "stealing animals" but seeing you trying to walk this tightrope of laughable idiocy is amusing, so by all means, please continue trying to deflect from that disaster of a debate last night. I'm genuinely enjoying every minute of this.

"There are police call recordings, reports, and city council testimony of Haitians in Springfield stealing and eating animals”

Quote from my previous post. Is a goose an animal?

Wait, its 1PM the next day, and MAGA is still talking about cats and dogs?

Yeah, kinda like saying officers were killed on J6 which didn't happen. It's OK to say "no, that's a blatant falsehood." Just to keep the discussion tethered to reality, of course.

She didn't say officers were "killed".  She said, "On that day, 140 law enforcement officers were injured, and some died."   Brian Sicknick suffered two strokes the day after the attack and died.   Several others committed suicide later.  An exaggeration and needing some context?  Sure.  A "blatant falsehood".  No.

You'll also notice that the moderators said nothing when Trump made the false claim that the economy was the greatest the country has ever seen when he was president. They didn't fact check him and point out that GDP was under 3% the entire time.  They didn't point out that the post WW2 economy was clearly greater than 2016-2020.  That lie falls under the category of exaggerations and stretches that are typical of a debate.   As opposed to saying that babies are being born full term and then a doctor MURDERS the baby.  Or that Haitians are eating people's pets.   Those are lies not even tethered to the slightest bit of reality.

See the difference???

Oh I see, can you show me the police report of that happening?
