My question was directed to the why it takes certain swing states days to count when, before 2020, it didn't. As for your taxes, it doesn't seem like a fair law, but it's the law. The good news is that at least there is a foreign tax credit.

Mail in ballots in PA have multiple envelopes and must be sealed with complete information filled in. Each then must be - starting from election day - opened in front of poll watchers from both parties, inspected for tampering, verified, then scanned. Repeat that process a million times. Florida is already opening, inspecting, and verifying the validity of the ballots. Election day they just scan. This is the difference you care not to accept. Have you ever even attempted intellectual honesty or good faith argumentation?

Here in PA, for example, it has always taken DAYS to count the votes. In PA there is a law that mail in ballots cannot be counted until election day. Thanks to COVID, people turned to mail in voting. You could have looked this up. But that would be fact checking, and you don't deal with facts. Only whatever hysteria your orange toad tells you to fear today.
