Everyone has a god. Trump’s is his own ego. Some make politics their religion and identity. I don’t have a problem with him invoking God though particularly as it’s important to his supporters. I don’t think he’s attending Bible studies though.

False. They wanted choice for all not the absence of God. They spoke of God and included Him since the beginning with "Endowed by our Creator". It's why providence was used so often in their papers.
