Trump won rather easily, but we elected a Dem governor, Dem Atty General, and lots of other Dems down the ballot. Honestly, that’s the shocking thing to me - not that Trump won. The number of split ballots were astonishing in this election and I think it's something that will be looked at more when the dust settles and everyone calms down a bit. A lot of people that voted Trump also voted down-ballot Dem, including for abortion protections, etc. Numerically, the magnitude of Trump's win should have translated to a 56 Republican Senate and an expanded house majority but it didn't. This is something for Democrats to build on once they emerge from the fetal position.

Even then it wasn't every week. 1983 was probably the last time I watched every week because of Eddie Murphy and Joe Piscopo.

The years that I mentioned above, (83 and 84), I was 14 and 15. 1 minute ago, Dave Moss said: Va Beach has never heard of Wayne’s World or the Church Lady. I respect it I've heard of them and I've seen clips of them here and there. But as for actually watching the show itself, no. I mostly lost interest after Eddie and Joe left the show. The amusement park in my neck of the woods (Kings Dominion near Richmond, VA which was featured in the 70's movie 'Roller Coaster') had a section of the park that was Wayne's World themed and a pretty good roller coaster named "The Hurler", back in the middle 90's.
