Have you tried walking in Center City alone after dark?

How else is one supposed to find affordable prostitutes?

Answer me that, elitist!

I assumed Wales

Wales has rookie numbers compared to us.

New Zealand
Population of New Zealand: 5 million
Number of Sheep in New Zealand: 38.4 million
Ratio: 7.7 sheep per person in New Zealand

Wales
Population of Wales: 3.1 million
Number of Sheep in Wales: 9.5 million
Ratio: 3 sheep per person in Wales

In all seriousness though, the amount of times i've been in at a upmarket restaurant in the US and they've tried to sell me on their NZ lamb...

Spoiler alert!

They tried the same thing with me with Guernsey beef.

No matter what they tell you it's always armadillo.

This is Trump’s America

I've more people in New Zealand than I can count on one hand that live or have lived in Guernsey.

WTF - its a tiny island on the other side of the world.

This coming from the people who ate Biden's uncle.

I think he wanted to say 'I told you so, I was the only one who ever beat him'.

Also, if the 'crap talk' was true, he might not care about that so much. Plus, that's just politics. You expect that from your political 'enemies'. You don't expect your political allies to stab you in the back, and I'm sure that's how he sees it.

Biden actually cares about Americans and fate of the nation. He wanted to see Trump lose just as much as anyone.

I don't get why they're giving him such a hard time. He's been in public service for 5 decades. They're saying "he should have dropped out sooner", but they all huddled together and lied about his condition (like a lot of you did) for at least a year. They had the ability to primary him against his will but they didn't. They made a calculation and they lost. Now the world has to wait and see what crazy shite will or won't happen.

Try the truth on for size just once, left. It just might suit you.

Turns out the advanced age and cognitive fitness of a presidential candidate isn't the deal breaker some were expecting it to be. Even if Biden dropped out prior to the primaries, you really think the outcome would've been any different?

It could have been, but the Dems don’t really have much depth at the bench.

It didn’t help that the Biden comms team was complete and total ish at their jobs. They kept trying to downplay inflation instead of trying to tack it to Trump. People didn’t blame Obama for the ish growth, they blamed it on Bush. They went on about Trumps crap Rona policies, but they didn’t stop to think they maybe should have pegged the economy to him, too. So they just Emperor’s clothes themselves to death.

And then they doubled down and didn’t highlight anything good. DJIA was through the roof, but they didn’t highlight it.

If you’re going to have a good comms team, you need to start by having a WH director of comms who is a real AH.

In terms of Harris, let’s face it, how many of us actually voted for her and not against Orange Benito?

No.

And you and I both know that your comparison of Biden's obvious dementia to Trump's idiosyncrasies is and always has been just another lie (is he leaning forward? is he leaning forward? Look! He's leaning forward!) Oh and Trump didn't have the energy to make appearances in the closing weeks, right? Right?

It's about having an arms race. You put the candidates in a crucible and see what survives. You don't turn some poor old guy into Bernie Lomax, then when everyone catches on replace him 3 months before the convention with some semi-daft tart that probably shouldn't have been there in the first place. When someone tells you, "we can't pass her over because she's a woman of color", you already have a problem. You don't do that. You maximize your chances.

Trump may have won no matter what, but the margin does matter, and more so the process you use to choose candidates matter.

Also, I wank it to Shari Lewis and Lambchop.

Not sure better messaging from the current administration gets a dem candidate across the finish line. The people receptive to that sort of messaging were likely already voting blue.

seriously though, I'd have a three-way with that lady and her puppet.

No more a lie than you just now claiming Harris was semi-daft when compared to the opposition. As for the process, Biden's timing was bad but an open primary would've been a disaster. The margins would've been even worse for whichever bloodied candidate emerged from a fractured party that late in the game.

Fair response, though I'd hate to think I said Trump is smarter. I kind of insulted her, I guess. If you're saying that Biden was perfectly sound a year ago I guess I'll take your word for it and that of Sideshow Roberta.

I wasn't saying Biden should have dropped out, I'm saying they shouldn't have given him a choice in the matter. I thought I was clear about that but I may have been distracted watching a redhead make out with an ovine sock puppet.

I have issues.

You didn't but as you implied in your opening statement, it's all rooted as comparisons to the opposition. So are you trying to say the gap in cognitive fitness between Biden and Trump is actually bigger than the gap in intellect between Harris and Trump?

No.

I called her daft (qualified deliberately by the prefix "semi") because that's my qualitative assessment, probably coloured slightly by a well-earned misogyny.

I didn't proctor an IQ test. Nor did I administer FMRIs to Trump and Biden.

I apologize and I prostate myself before you.

Get some rest and do better in 2026.
