It was utterly bananas in 2021 and 2022, and companies were bidding each other up for limited supply. Strong demand + limited supply = massive inflation. But you can't talk about the inflation of 2021-2022 ad ignore the issues with the supply chain. Frankly, that was the much larger problem. Supply shocks have been the cause of massive inflation in the US historically (OPEC embargo) - we've had low rates and free money forever. COVID was free money on steroids, but it doesn't get nearly that bad without China shutting down. Chip shortage, too! As anyone trying to buy/lease a car in 2021 would know. 😃😐

No, I dont think the photos are fake, though only one is from a legit school setting, the other is from a parking lot so possibly college or somewhere else, and the other is from someone's bedroom. Not exactly a ton of evidence if you're trying to claim it's widespread enough that it's been happening in schools all over the country for over a decade. There are blog posts about anything, that doesn't make them evidence of anything. There is zero barrier of entry for anyone to write a blog post about whatever they feel like. For example, I could write a blog post tonight about how adult men that go to outdoor Hanson concerts in 2021 have such low levels of testosterone that they can't possibly impregnate a human female, but that wouldn't make any of it true. Pretty sad that I have to explain this to you, but not all that surprising given your track record here. I don't even know what daily mail article you're talking about but that Read Lion one seems like a laughable source as I already pointed out. Not that the Daily Mail has been some bastion of journalistic integrity themselves. And as I already said, I don't think Rambo, his kid, or others here are lying. I think the more likely explanation is that there are rumors going around about some kids at school which get distorted and then evenutally relayed to some of the parents. I know this because I've just seen it happen with my kids who heard that a kid from another district was murdered when the actual (tragic) story was that a tree fell on him at a school function. A more recent one from a few weeks ago was that a group of 8th girls were planning to host a Diddy party at one of their houses because someone overheard them making some chant on the bus about "lubing up" or some sheet.
