July 24, 20241 yr Regardless of what the polls say, the election will be determined by two factors. Getting the vote out, and safeguarding the integrity of the voting machines. Democrats have more registered voters, a policy platform, and are on the correct side of majority opinion on the most important issues. Republicans are running mostly on "they’re taking your country from you, the deep state is everywhere, and let’s make rich people richer”. They’re also trying to convince voters that life was better in the 60s, 70s, and 80s — MAGA, so to speak. Yes, people have a general fondness for when life seemed simpler, but no — life was not "better” back then. The vote count for Biden was 81M in 2020; Democrats need to push for 85M+ this time around.
