February 6, 20242 yr Maybe I’m misreading it but I see that vague reference to a possible return as an attempt to preserve trade value of any players they would part with at the deadline. Kind of a "Our season isn’t over. This isn’t a fire sale, you still have to pay full price” kind of statement.
