If you're argument was that the CDC posted on their website about fitness, immune system, and vitamins for COVID advice you're right. No argument there. If you don't think the narrative being driven was to stay inside, don't be around other people, isolate, don't go to a gym, don't go outside, and just sit on your couch and stuff your face or if you do go outside, the drive-thru McDonald's where you can order three Big-Macs is fine because we're allowing that to stay open, then I don't know what to tell you.

I never really understood the revisionist history/nostalgia with Vick as an Eagle. He was a fun player who played really good for some stretches, specifically in 2010. Flattened out at the end of that season and threw the game ending pick in the playoffs against GB. 
 

He’s nowhere near McNabb, prime/clutch Foles, and even Hurts through two full seasons starting has surpassed him as an Eagle.

The average American was not going to the CDC site. The average American had their eyes glued to the TV listening to whatever the current news anchor was telling them to do while watching the death count ticker in the corner. The media was NOT pushing for anyone to go outside and stay active. These are the ads they were showing.

Then you have the social media push with profile frames and such. It's sad how many people live their lives through social media and how important they think those stupid frames are but here we are in 2023.

No one is moving a goal post. Merely stating that the narrative was NOT you can still go outside and exercise. It was everything below.

There were so many hit pieces on him from different media sources, but it was all unsubstantiated click bait. I suppose people believe stuff they want to believe. Wentz kept his mouth shut, never said a bad word about the team or teammates and people called that "pouting." If you want to see pouting, go look at players like T.O. or Antonio Brown that couldn't function without being the center of attention for one moment and made everything about them and constantly played the victim. Both of them literally cried for the camera.

I'm a huge Vick fan and it's basically the same as when I loved Randall.  Pure excitement.  But you're right, Vick is 100% more like Wentz. He made huge plays, exciting plays, but outside of the NYG comeback game, he wasn't that clutch. Out of all Eagles QBs, as much as I love Vick, he isn't the one I would want if I needed a win in one game.

Foles had 9 game winning drives plus 2 in the post season.

Vick had 6 game winning drives.

Hurts has 4 game winning drives and counting. 

Wentz had 11 game winning drives. 

McNabb had 22 game winning drives.

Hurts should have at least 3-4 more from 2021.  So many games where the defense just needed to get the ball back for the offense and after Hurts got it to one score games and the defense lets the opposing offense just bleed the clock for the rest of the game.  Then the Giants game too where Reagor dropped two would be game winning TDs on back to back plays to end the game.  I'll always be disgusted by that.  Hurts got a lot of well deserved criticism for that game but it was also promising to see that for what was his worst game ever he still made two throws at the end that should have won them the game.

Good stats but Hurts and that offense beat the piss out of pretty much everyone by halftime last season so a comeback wasn’t needed. And if he gets the ball back in the Super Bowl, I think he would have at least tied it.

This hits the nail on the head for me.  2010 was the only season Vick was really any good in PHI.  He had his chance in the playoffs and lost to the #6 seed Packers with the game very winnable at the end.  Playoff Foles was infinitely better than playoff Vick.
