I hope you all had a great 4th July.

It's great for me professionally; nothing happens at work and I get to watch the Tour De France and not be interrupted by work calls.  Winning for all on EMB

I was working with a few US colleagues toward a five week stint in Birmingham UK for a method review and recommendations.  We were teleconferencing with our UK hosts in preparation and needed a final teleconference before heading over.  A UK colleague proposed a day the following week.  There was an awkward silence then I said, well that’s July 4th, which is a holiday here where we celebrate our independence from y’all.  Bit of embarrassment from the other side and then we targeted a day the following week for the last call.  Silly thing about visas to work in the UK was the only thing left impacting the trip and in a bit of natural satire, those came through the week of July 4.

I had the same experience the other week.  We have a group call over some geos that expired from the calendar, and my manager was, let's book it in the first week of July on the Tuesday. I had to suggest that doing it on 4th July or even in the week was not a good idea for our American colleagues.

You've gotta celebrate kicking us out properly after all

Nobody here is posting links to studies.

It's a football board.   There's very little football to talk about for about a month.

People I guess could type their opinions on Supreme Court decisions.  Also not football.

Well I hope you had a happy 4th.

It's OK.  You don't have to like good things.

Please stop with this immature "retarded” humor. Mattwill is triggered by it

I didn't think he was joking.

I have a quick favor to ask of anyone who might have access to the game footage of the Super Bowl. I'm in the process of cataloging all the kicks and punts from the game and I have a serious issue regarding the Eagles kickoff late in the first half after they go up 21-14. There are just a little over two minutes left at the time. Elliott kicks the ball through the endzone for a touchback. From my TV copy of the game, I cannot tell where the ball landed, although I can see it bouncing behind the back of the end line. But I know it did not "land" there on the fly. Nor can I tell the hangtime of the kick. If ANYONE can get me the spot where it landed originally (say, six yards deep...or eight yards deep...or on the endline...or two yards behind the endline...or whatever it is), I would really appreciate it. A semi-accurate hangtime would be helpful too.

Watched it with the All22. Difficult to be exact as to ball landing on the All22. I would estimate about five yards deep in the end zone. I am not as skilled as you are on hang time but doing it five times with a range of 4.12-4.18 I am putting hang time at 4.15 seconds.  Thing with the high All22 shot on kickoffs is watching the ball is like watching the hockey puck on my small black and white TV back in the 70s. (A bit better that the super 8 coaches film in HS but my eyes are fifty years older now.)

Eagles WR Devon Allen believes he's the fastest player in NFL

The Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver and two-time Olympic track star had the utmost confidence when asked on Monday if he's the fastest player in the league.

"I definitely am [the fastest]," Allen told TMZ Sports.

Thank you so much. I’ll log it as 35/105 4.15 approx.

this one’s kinda easy

Simmons-White-Cox-Douglas

We’d wreck Olines so bad it wouldn’t matter our back 7 talent

Isn't the point of this to pick 1 player from each position?

For me:  White, Harmon, Thomas, Brown, Dawkins.  (I would have gone Vincent, if I could play the void years game that Howie plays... or even grab Brown with that as well and really pull a Howie kicking the can down the road.)

Jim and Pat are about to break down the Eagles edge rushers on Sirius NFL.  They gave Dallas a perfect grade of 20 and the Giants a 14.

Wideman - 6'5" 190lbs

Wright - 6'3" 195lbs

Both could be options to sign and bring to camp. Wideman is a little more explosive and knows how to use his size better.

Must be using an alias.  6'5" and 190 lbs is not a wideman.

BTW, logging onto NFL+ it asked my zip code for live games. I skipped that but I doubt it will be optional when the season starts. Don’t know if that is for live preseason games only at this point or maybe the streaming ones as well. We’ll see when the season starts. Frankly, I like the condensed games for other teams as I can watch a game in 45 minutes.  I don’t care if they are live or not.  I enjoy watching the All 22 for the defense, especially the secondary. So I will continue to subscribe until the NFL prices it out of value.

Not even training camp yet and there are pundits guzzling Cowboy juice.  Cannot give a perfect grade to a team who was third in the NFL in sacks last season, especially when the top two teams both played in the Super Bowl.
