Almost gone!  Man, you should hop on that one quickly!

"You're lower life scumbags more than anyone," Shasky raged on Tuesday's Morning Roast. "I'm sick of it. It's ok to be a dirty, crappy fan because you're in Philadelphia. If Niner fans did this, you know what they would file it under? Thugs."

I went to 1 game in San Fran back in 2006.  After the game we had two of our cars windows smashed, contents stolen and I had one 9ers fan swing an empty bottle of vodka at my head while walking past his tailgate with two elderly Eagles fans. (both members here, both have since passed on)

F them.

I find the whole 49ers whining angle pretty funny, more than irritating.

If you've got a conference rival you feel is standing in your way of a Super Bowl you should be focused on how to improve, and what personnel changes are needed to match up better with them.  Instead, the SF players seem more focused on making excuses.  That's the same tact the Saints' players always took for their playoff failures -- and their window closed once Brees aged further past his prime.

The first goal is always to win your division.  The 49ers are fortunate because their division is in decline right now.  ARI is likely the worst team in the NFL and LAR have an aging QB, two superstars in Kupp and Donald, and very little else.  SEA is improved, but who knows what their ceiling is with Geno at QB.  The division is there for SF to win easily, but I don't see them being as strong as last season.  I think they're making a mistake having Purdy as their presumed starting QB, and their defense likely takes a step backwards without Ryans (after losing Saleh previously).

They dominated the Chickens last season, so I think SF wins the division -- but their schedule is tough.  Their non-division games are against the AFC North and NFC East, with road games @ JAX and @ MIN to go along with a home game against the Bucs.  Hard to see them winning more than 11 games, even if Purdy does exceed expectations.  He performed well against a very soft portion of their schedule last year.

Wait!  Are you telling me an Eagles Reagor jersey is more valuable than Reagor was to the Eagles?

I think it's great. They perfectly nailed it for a throwback.

Way better than the Eagles' stupid all black look.

Who do you move to slot?

If they had those three the deployment variations would be immense.  I would expect all three would take snaps in the slot.  A real nightmare for opposing Defenses.

Free is still more than I’d pay.

That already happens, but you still need one guy to primarily be the slot.

When you look at the production Smith and Brown combined for last season, I don't believe that will increase by lining them up in the slot more often. In other words, I'm leaning toward the old "if it ain't broke, don't fix it" approach. Then you factor in that you're bringing in a high volume target on a team that already has Smith, Brown, and Goedert. Out of those 3, who do you want to target less to make Hopkins happy? All of them?

I'm reminded a bit of 2018 when we had a million slot WRs and nothing much outside. We brought in Tate, and it just didn't add a missing dynamic and, IMO, actually upset the chemistry the team did have.

Ah that nice soft Eagles' o-line that pushed defenders 2 yards off the ball.

I loved the Tush Push.   That's some "THIS IS SPARTA" stuff right there.

I suspect you'll see this from the vast majority of teams on short yardage situations this year.   We shall see.

Even ignoring his durability issues, Barkley hasn't been as dynamic a player as he was billed to be.  A 4.5 yards per carry average for his career, and only 7.4 yards per reception.  Both indicate a player who is quite replaceable.
