I think we aren’t really looking at many millennials on down as sports players and fans.  Women especially gravitate to soccer.  Soccer is kind of like basketball where a goal and ball are all you need.  You can do that at the park or in the backyard, just like the driveway hoop.  You don’t need a full team to play.  Many kids play soccer as youth and have been for a few decades now.  I see soccer fields all over the country.  

In the USWNT we have a group even more dominant than in men’s basketball.  Frankly, I would rather watch the women than the men.  (9 EDT tonight).  I am not the fan that my kids are but I never played.  
 

Training camp was way better when it was at Lehigh. It’s so boring now. I miss all the jock sniffers on here sucking up to Spadaro

You can say that about any position including QB, all you need to do is look at how many 1st round QBs fail, then look at the how many good/great QBs are drafted in the later rounds, a few examples are, Tom Brady (round 6), Tony Romo (undrafted), Warren Moon (undrafted), Kurt Warner(undrafted), Dave Krieg(undrafted), Rodger Staubauch (Round 10), Steve McNair (Round 3) and the further you go back the longer the list with several with HOF QBs.

Bottom line, the NFL decided to pay OL over RB, it's that simple, and it's pretty stupid also, there are 5 OL to pay and just 1 feature RB to pay.

How did these guys not learn from what Henry Ruggs did?   So STUPID.  No excuse.  Frankly, driving that fast should require jail time in addition to a loss of license.   PA codes don't even list a penalty for driving higher than 105, and that's for a 75mph zone.  55mph zones only go up to 95mph.  Driving that fast is basically a matter of attempted vehicular manslaughter, because if you crash at that speed, fatalities are the only realistic outcomes.
