You can say that about any position including QB, all you need to do is look at how many 1st round QBs fail, then look at the how many good/great QBs are drafted in the later rounds, a few examples are, Tom Brady (round 6), Tony Romo (undrafted), Warren Moon (undrafted), Kurt Warner(undrafted), Dave Krieg(undrafted), Rodger Staubauch (Round 10), Steve McNair (Round 3) and the further you go back the longer the list with several with HOF QBs.

Bottom line, the NFL decided to pay OL over RB, it's that simple, and it's pretty stupid also, there are 5 OL to pay and just 1 feature RB to pay.

No.  We haven't been saying that about those positions, we were saying that about specific players.

I always liked the Pats' unis back in the day.  And I didn't hate the team back then either.

If the Eagles do have the Kelly greens this year my guess for the games is:

Week 7 - Dolphins SNF

W14 @ Cowboys SNF

W16 Christmas Day National Game at home against the Giants.

That isn't accurate, the UK broadcasters had made a bid as part of the EBU very early in the process, and the BBC has covered every women's world cup since the late 90's, but Infantino said he wouldn't let them show the tournament  because they weren't ponying up enough dough and they were "insulting women" (which means they weren't giving Infantino and his pals enough money for their slush fund).

Yeah.  The BBC weren't willing to pay for it all - they are splitting the coverage with ITV to keep the costs down, hence the lack of TV deal. Infantino can complain, but the tournament won't be ratings success because of who is hosting it - if FIFA wanted the big bucks they needed to hostit somewhere they can get big ratings in the bigger markets.

There is a similar splitting arrangement with the men's game, and the 6 Nations Rugby.  Legally, WC coverage can't go on pay TV, otherwise Sky or TNT may well have bid for it.

What a completely idiotic comment.  Sixers were stuck in irrelevancy for a long time prior to Harris.  He saved the Sixers franchise.

Lol  ok. Speaking of idiotic. Yeah, we should all love owners who bend over for the league and allow an idiot and his son to take over and f everything up.

Didn't really bend over for the league.  The league basically forced there hand.  They had been taking crap from the league and every team for multiple years until Adam Silver pretty much forced the Sixers to hire Colangelo.

They can't force him to fire his GM. Cuban would have especially said go f yourself about a league appointed president and GM. He bent over and it f ed the team. Then he hired EB and watched Doc crap the bed not too long after. May he f the Commanders with the same ineptitude

They didn't fire the GM.  Hinkie resigned.

What a completely idiotic comment.  Sixers were stuck in irrelevancy for a long time prior to Harris.  He saved the Sixers franchise.

Prior to him coming, they got to the second round of the playoffs.  Since he got here... they had the embarrassment of The Process, then he let the league dictate his personnel moves, and what do we have to show for it?   Getting to the second round of the playoffs.  There was no 'saving' of the franchise.

First move was Bynum.  Massive failure.
Next move was Hinkie and The Process... that didn't really work out so well.  They drafted Okafor, not Porzingus.  They drafted Embiid, because he was the guy that was left, not because he was the guy they wanted.  They landed Ben Simmons... who was an embarrassment to this organization.

Then the league made them fire Hinkie, and the league appointed special help to find a new GM... hired HIS SON!  Who was a clown here, and they traded up for a guy #1 overall (Fultz) who would have likely been there had they stayed put... and then the kid forgot how to shoot.  And they bailed on him.

Then we drafted Mikhal Bridges... local kid, with talent.  And they immediately trade him away.  Instead, we got Zhaire Smith and a pick... which got flipped for Tobias.   I'd rather have Bridges.  We'd likely have a much better shot at getting past Round 2... AND he's still young.

Then we bring in Morey... and all he does is go out and bring in his old (emphasis on old) disgruntled buddy from Houston, ignoring BETTER options that might have paid off much more handsomely.

What exactly has this franchise gotten right since Harris bought it?  Not much.   Harris hasn't exactly been a massive boon for the Sixers by any means. Prior to Harris buying, the team made the playoffs 4 out of 5 years, and maxed out at losing in the 2nd round.  Since then, the Sixers had the entire Process massacre, and what do we have to show for it?  Have now made the playoffs 6 years in a row... but still have topped out by losing in the second round of the playoffs.  Seems to me we are pretty much right where we were before, but with a giant black eye to our name to go along with it.

Hinkie was forced to resign.  His resignation letter pretty much points out that he wasn't allowed to see the end of his long game play out.

Prior to him this franchise had no star talent and couldn't get any star talent to save its life.  It was bottom seed peak irrelevancy year in and year out if they made the playoffs at all.  The Process wasn't an embarrassment, the only thing that is an embarrassment are these Glen Macnow like clowns like you that have always had this higher than though attitude towards it.  The Process made following the Sixers an absolute joy and a year round source of entertainment.  Summer league meant something.  Watching young players trying to find diamonds in the rough during season you knew were going to be nothing but purely developmental as they stockpiled assets.

He wasn't forced to resign.  He just had too much self respect to treated like Milton in Office Space.

Steve McNair was 3rd overall, not a 3rd round pick.

Warren Moon was classic '70s racism and had nothing to do with talent evaluation. He came into the league as a multiple Grey Cup champion, not a young prospect.

Roger without the D had a Navy commitment.

The only thing stupid about paying O-line is  complaining about it in some weird freak out about the plight of the poor replaceable RB.

The Eagles got to the SB 2x with a 3rd and 2nd round QB because they paid their O-line, duh.

He was forced. If he didnt resign he was going to be fired. It secured the #1 pick for the 6ers.
