Crazy first inning.  2 infield hits... that were barely hit, just hit in the exact right spot.  Then off the wall.  

3 infield hits.  Frankly, could have been an error on Turner.  He misplayed that ball.  Nothing good comes when you don't move your feet.

2 for 2 on plays by Harper.   Better than Hall.

Didn't like that decision given the top of the lineup coming up and this guy getting a bit wild.  

This not hitting with risp is maddening 

bases loaded twice... only 1 run in an inning where they didn't load the bases.  This team needs to get better with RISP!

What i was talking about with trading for arenado. If you don’t get everyone else hitting his upgrade with bohm doesn’t matter as much. They really just need another bat that can drive home runs. Last year hoskins had a career year of .292 with RISP. Schwarber, Turner and realmuto have pretty much been bad this year with RISP

Yeah then when you mix in harper coming back from TJ and not having the power makes it worse. Before they got hit against the padres i thought they needed to change the lineup around. Realmuto is hitting 280s with no one on and below .200 and below .190 with runners on and RISP. As strange as it sounds he might be better hitting leadoff considering his average is good with no one on. And harper 2 hole until his power comes back.

I had to give up on rarity after the QB column. Then I just started throwing out vets who have been on dozens of teams. 

I wonder how many of these grids will  contain Fitzpatrick, McCown or Gore.

Yeah Thomson wouldn’t do it. But at this point realmuto has been pretty bad for over a month. He really shouldn’t be in the 5 hole where he gets more chances to drive home runs. The Phils should not be buyers, unless they can get a player dirt cheap. Keep your best prospects and your farm system in tact. The offense is a lost cause this year. They aren’t going to win anything with this lineup.

And please for the love of god stay far far away from Juan Soto. If you thought I was insufferable when they signed turner, it will be that x1000 if they trade for an even more overrated player in Soto. At least the Turner F up just cost money. Soto will cost massive prospects. Stay away, please.
