Wonder if Trent Williams counts even if he wasn't named 1st team all pro until after the Redskins.

Nope, has to specifically happen on the team. Otherwise Bailey would have worked for me.

These are for the previous season? That's surprising he's that low

I don't think it's about his politics. You Tube has had ads for years.  People are going on to watch videos.  It's like Spotifiy where some people pay to not have ads.   He got rid of a verification system that was attractive for journalists.  Now anyone can be verified for a price.  He devalued a main attraction for people seeking news and information from verifiable sources on the site.  The platform has had issues with data which seem to stem for an inability to pay bills.  It's not just that the platform didn't work properly.  It's that it didn't work and they implemented changes that were not announced as temporary and it was easily attributable to a revenue issue.  The company is getting sued due to layoffs and the failure to honor severance agreements.  While lawsuits are sometimes inevitiable, the scope of the suits against the company seems unusual.  Then there are issues like the  projected revenue being down for advertisement and interactions by users have dropped.

Maybe Musk will be able to right the ship but it's not heading in a good direction currently.

These have all been issues for a while, but on the very day they announce the branding change happens to be the day he announces he's putting his camp content on threads. I think we can put 2 and 2 together. It has not affected his ability to pump out content personally, this seems way more like a boycott type move than him needing to do it or wanting to do it. Threads lost 70% of its initial activity once people realized it isn't as good and doesn't have as many users, and is giving people strikes for doing innocuous things and if you get 3 strikes not only do you lose your Threads account, you lose your IG account also since they are tied together.

Hard one today. Couldn't think of anyone besides Haynesworth. Whiffed on Champ Bailey being AP1. Second mistake was Beau Allen for Bucs/Patriots.

Ok, I call BS. He WAS all pro, just on a different team.  So this is supposed to be all pro for that team?

I think Rashaad Penny is being super undervalued. More people are excited about Swift, but Penny is objectively the better player. He may not be as versatile, but he's a better runner, better vision, a monster when he's healthy. And Swift hasn't exactly been healthy a ton himself either, so it's not like he has a pass in that regard.

Agreed…I think most just assume he’s an injury waiting to happen.  It would great to keep the RB room healthy all year and see what these guys can do in this offense

The best thing about the schedule is only 3 1:00 games. I know people love 1:00 games, but I like being able to focus on the majority of the games on Sunday without the Eagles in the way and then when 4:00 comes, you can focus on the Eagles as a lead in to SNF. I also love when it starts out light and ends as it gets darker.

It's picked by other players supposed to be based on last year's performance, but I doubt that's what they solely go off of. Smith had a better statistical season than Jamarr Chase, but I'd bet Chase goes higher in the rankings. I'm kind of surprised Smith made it at all.

I’m hoping she doesn’t. That’s awful if she does.

I'm wondering where Greg Ward is going to land in this list. Because after all, they're basically the same player. Or so I've heard.

Glad Ross Tucker is doing some NFL games this season.

Of all the new faces, I am really excited to hear about the progress of Nolan Smith. I am cautiously optimistic that he has absorbed the playbook and can play a larger role than edge rusher. How often do the Eagles have a rookie take off right from the start?

ver fr be

4.39 40. He's as fast as a DB or a LB.    Some think the Eagles might be scratching their heads at least a tiny bit about positions like LB and S.  Physically,  Nolan Smith can do that.

Some people think that a sack from the edge is the greatest possible thing you could possibly do, and if you can do that,  that's all you should do.  I disagree with that.   ILBs don't get the press of edges,  but they often do play every down.  And green dot is important.

In theory,  Dean and Smith could be the ILBs, on the field every down.  Time reveals that they're great players.  And it wouldn't take all that much time.   Maybe Dean or Smith becomes an edge rusher on a play, or not,  either of them could cover.  It just seems to me that someone who could be great at a lot of things should do a lot of different things.  I also like using verfrbe on offense.  Nolan Smith was a running back in high school. the defense would just bounce right off him.  238, 4.39, 1.48 10 split,  40+ vert.   The Eagles have a lot of verfrbe, and I just think it's great to use them doing multiple stuff.   Georgia Bulldogs defense all verfrbe,  all did offense in high school and/or college,  lots of 10 ras there.   Davis, Carter, Dean, Smith, Ringo,  all could do offense.  Not saying there is an actual need to do this, but it's something I like.

I was thinking about Fletcher Cox, but it has been a long time when the Eagles have themselves a legitimate Rookie of the Year candidate. Can Nolan Smith play a role more like how Micah Parsons is used? Is he that skilled? I am excited to find out what happens
with him.

Nolan Smith is smaller - 6022 238 v 6031 246
