Just my opinion, but ideally, one of the young CBs shows enough and makes Maddox expendable. Can McPhearson be the nickel? What about Jobe or one of the touted UDFA in this class?

Ringo seems to be very versatile. I know the nickel CB requires certain skillsets but they have some elite talent they brought in. None of them have lived up to that billing, but the talent is there.

Keele Ringo, Mekhi Garner, Eli Ricks, Greedy Williams and Josh Jobe are all SEC CBs who were highly, highly touted players. No surprise they are all SEC guys too. I think they are going to turn some heads.

The most annoying part of the hype for me is when the players seem to be buying into themselves.   Quips like "skies the limit" should come from others, not the individual being hyped.  The hypee should put on the Jalen Hurts model... "1% everyday" mantra and just do the work, and let the work speak.  Hard work speaks louder than hype.

I think at least 1 of the young CB is going to turn in to something for them, my above post talking about just that.
