I think you need to go back and read all about it. You literally have no idea what you are talking about.

He did not just lay off some employees. His toxic behavior dominated the news cycle for about a month.

Taylor's agent :ph34r::ph34r::ph34r:

Bad faith is missing 6 games, running for about 1000 less yards than the year before, thinking you deserve a new contract unlike they rest of your salary cap limited teammates under a mutual CBA, and having your agent spew nonsense. Jonathan Taylor is why you don't pay running backs.

I'm working on 10 predictions for the NFL season, I really don't have that many strong takes so far. I had much stronger takes last season, nailed a lot of em like the Patriots finishing under .500 for the first time in 20 years.

Some I'm thinking about: regression season for Geno Smith?

Bears being the team with the biggest win total increase?

Lions being the sexy pick, but Vikings still winning the NFC North relatively comfortably, because until proven otherwise the Lions are the Lions.

Raiders being the 2nd worst team in the NFL this season?

Agreed on Geno.

Bears are a good choice for that second prop.

Vikings come in 3rd in their division IMO.  Lions first, Bears second, and Vikings third.

Raiders are a good choice for your fourth prop.

Literally one of your bullets points in your post.

  • He alienated his employees by being a company-devaluing toxic PoS.

HIs toxic behavior?  He laid off a bunch of mostly completely useless and overpaid employees.  The MSM and liberals on Twitter were in complete hysteria for about a month because they lost a piece of their total monopoly on big tech censorship.

Uh no, big tech companies did not lay off 80% of their workforce like Musk did. Are you pulling a BigEfly by claiming 10-20% cuts are the same as 80% cuts?

SB Hangover is overstated IMO. There are 3 very different type of SB teams. The all-in and then bust teams, the end of a run teams, and the well built teams.

The Rams had a massive hangover because they rented players, sold draft picks, and mortgaged the future. That is hangover by design.

The 2002 Raiders were built similarly with Eric Allen, Rod Woodson, Jerry Rice, Tim Brown. Romanowski, etc. It was last hurrahs all around. Even Gannon was turning 38.

This Eagles team is more like the 2020 and on Chiefs, 90's Bills, 80s Broncos, 2001-2004 Eagles, or the 2017 Patriots. They are built well and still hungry. They did just about everything right to stay in position to not only contend but to be conference favorites.

2005 sucked but a lot of it was on 2 things. First, McNabb got a cheap shot vs Atlanta that worsened an already hurting abdominal strain. Second, TO and McNabb were both infants. Its not like a 4-5 start with McNabb was atypical. They were 2-3, 3-2, and 3-3 to start 2001-2003. He just could not help them right the ship because his core was busted.

2018 was mostly on the wrong QB and Foles eventually righted that ship again. They were an Alshon blunder from a possible NFCCG return.

I know the Eagles started out 9-2 in 1981 before losing 4 of 5 and then getting the Wally Henry treatment in the Wildcard game.  I don't know what happened in December but its not a hangover if it starts with 9-2.

I'm not saying this is going to be a magical 8-0 start again but this team is loaded. They might be better than last year even if they win 12 or 13 games instead of 14.

You say they’re still hungry, and I’m sure some of the players are.  I believe Hurts is in that mold.  But are they all?  Hopefully he can rub off on the rest of the team.

I wasn’t worried about the hangover from a roster age/strength perspective as much as a mental one.  An NFL season is a grind.  If any of these guys just think they will automatically be back to that game in Feb because everyone says they’re the favorites (because many, if not most, are saying that), then they won’t be.  Embracing that grind as a team is easier said than done…and most fail at the attempt

I heard Quez was busting his butt this offseason.

Can anyone tell me if Jalen Carter is back in shape? If so then he is obviously hungry.

I'm just not sure who to be worried about. Driscoll might not be hungry but if he's on the field they have already failed at depth or injury.

Make a list of the 53 in September and check hungry or satisfied and I bet you have 40+ in the hungry category.

Don’t get me wrong.  I’m not trying to say that most of the team is complacent.  I’m just saying humans are humans.  Overconfidence can be a real thing…other players and teams are hungry too.  The team had something special going last year, and it’s hard to just bottle that and expect it to be the same all the time.  That’s all I’m saying

I get what you are saying but if Jalen Carter went to the Raiders I'd be worried about his maturity.

With the leadership in place here and his Dawgs support group I am far less worried.

We got this.

So I'm not into this social media crap but is Twitter now called X or is X just a weird code name for it?

So outside of the top 5 who’s would you bet on? I’d be tempted to take the jags. If Lawrence plays like he did in the second half and makes another jump, doug as HC, addition of Ridley, i think they are more talented this year and that division is likely still not good. Plus +2500 i could make the case they should be higher than the chargers, lions and even ravens due to lamar not finishing a season the past couple years

Ravens, Chargers, or Jags from that list (outside first 5).  Lions D isn’t ready…and Tua isn’t a good bet to last the season

i would’ve said dolphins if i trusted tua to stay healthy. I also think the afc east being brutal is gonna hurt bills, jets and dolphins chances to get homefield.

whereas jags division sucks. While they play ravens, chiefs, Buffalo, niners and bengals (surprisingly only Buffalo is on the road) i don’t see the rest of that schedule being overly tough. If they just go 2-3 in those 5 games they have a shot to go 12-5 or 13-4 and get homefield if Lawrence makes another jump and doug has a more talented team in year 2

I also forgot they have hasty

Honestly, he should’ve retired.  I’m not claiming to be a brain expert… but something tells me there are concussions, and then there are concussions. What happened to him was no minor thing.

Carter already being a stud is just mild shock gif material, he was the consensus best player in the draft for a reason.

Smith already being this good is a great sign though.

I don't know.  I always thought Twittter was a weird name too.

I think he’s another concussion away from being forced into retirement.

It's literally just because Elon likes the letter X. It's in a lot of his brands. He has a kid even named X

I don't expect the Dolphins to win the Super Bowl...or even get there. But I think their odds should be better than 25 to 1. Kinda thinking they may be a decent bet when I go to the casino next month to do my annual pre-season wagering.
