Seems like the Boston Red Sox have felt the magic of the Yellow/Blue uniforms.

So based off what I was told by a couple people in my game worn jersey group and research of other teams throwbacks for this year on fanatics, the Kelly green jerseys being sold on fanatics are only going to be vapor F.U.S.E limited which is the heat pressed on jerseys and replicas. not the stitched vapor elite authentics. I don’t know what the pro shop has but I’m guessing since the reveal box only showed the FUSE version they likely also don’t have the vapor elite authentics (basically same as worn on the field in terms of stitched numbers, nameplate and logo)

Fans have been waiting at the Pro Shop since 3:30 a.m.  Nah, no ones excited about these!

For the fans that are expecting the authentics (vapor elite untouchable) version they are gonna be super disappointed when they get into the pro shop and realize the onyl have the FUSE limited version. As a collector, if I’m spending the type money Nike/eagles charge on a jersey i go with the vapor elite untouchable. It’s much better quality and closest thing you can get to game used jersey in the retail version.

That said Nike did this similarly with the Sixers city edition jerseys. There were a couple of seasons where the city edition jerseys were only the limited style jerseys and no actual authentics. 

So we’ll be able to purchase the Kelly green jerseys online also here in a hour or so too, right? Cause everywhere I’ve looked it only says available at pro shops in Philly & not anything online. It’s 3:30am my time so I need to know if it’s worth it for me to stay up until 5 lol

I’m pretty sure fanatics isn’t getting them until tomorrow (august 1). What Jeff kerr and a couple other reporters said when they finally released everything.

Don't they have a tier just below the elites? Cause I got an ertz jersey that was all stitched but was not the fully authentic

Was the limited jersey. They switched it this year with the limited. The new fuse limited jerseys are all heat pressed on now. It used to be that the numbers and the nameplate were stitched on. But this year they change that because they went cheaper. There was a video on YouTube that explains the new fuse jersey.

The dumb part of this is that on Fanatics the vapor elite authentic‘s in midnight green, and white always sell out super fast. Black is the only one that tends to struggle. So if they made the Kelley greens in a vapor elite authentic, I’m guessing it would sell out immediately and they would make a killing off of it. I’m surprised they aren’t. Gonna lose another source of sales. Should be maximizing all forms of the jersey

Not understanding how they chose these games. Also, announcing only 2 means my scenario of all black against the Giants on Christmas could still happen.

 

Check that. My guess is they think their first Sunday Night Football game at home would be terrific national exposure. The Bills game is Black Friday weekend so they want to ramp up holiday sales.
