The thing about LB is that there are 2 very, very good LB potentially available for trade in Patrick Queen and Lavonte David. If they want to truly go after this initial window the next 2 years, making a move at LB would certainly make a lot of sense. From reading the very few reports we get of just 3 practices in shells, Nick Morrow sounds like he doesn't even belong on the team, let alone start.

I'd actually be on the phone with the Cowboys and or Steelers to see who they might be willing to part with. Both teams are absolutely loaded at the position. I'd love to find a way go get my former draft crush, Jabril Cox, away from Dallas. He's coming off an injury and they added more young talent in this draft. Could be a name to look out for.

Pads on today. Should be some lively tweets.

Pads are on, you know what that means. Big day coming for Joe Ostman.

Interesting comment from Sirianni. It was clear the team didn’t trust Sanders in the pass game, but it seems like Gainwell is built for that role based on what he showed in college.

You know I’m not over joe ostman yet. Why would you bring up that name and put salt on the wound

Sirianni saw the Gainwell drop into INT against the Vikings and wouldn't throw the ball to him for half the season.

Not if Julian Vandervelde is in his "on again" situation.  I haven't checked the latest transactions though, he might have been cut again.

Finally how the Super Bowl was meant to be watched

Gotta think he's mainly talking about Sanders and Scott. Huge indirect indictment on Sanders though. What happened to him after year one...

Weirdest part of this is that back in Sanders' rookie year, he was the only big play threat the team had... rushing or receiving.   If I recall correctly, he had all but one of the big plays through the air at about the midseason point.
And... he had more receiving yards than ANY WR on the roster (509).  Jeffery - 490, Agholor - 363, Ward - 254, JJAW - 169, Jackson - 159, Hollins - 125.
And he had 3 receiving TDs.  Jeffery had 4.  Agholor had 3.  JJAW, Ward and Jackson combined for 4 more.

What happened to him?

Although I wouldn't quibble too much with an offense that was 3rd in the NFL in points and yards last season, Sirianni and Johnson need to do a better job of getting the ball to the RBs in the passing game.  Gainwell was 50+ catches for 600+ yards his last year in college, and Sanders wasn't used properly in the pass game.  He's bad at the screens in the flat and short middle (the conventional RB targets), but useful in the downfield passing game.

So is this the day folks start losing their minds over what Jalen Carter could be?

We're all die hards here but even I don't really find it all that interesting to see if Reddick does team drills on August 1st

It's ESP. He's been pushing the Reddick should hold out until he gets a new contract narrative all off-season.

I don't really care about much, other than avoiding injuries -- but August 1 starts to kick things into gear for me knowing Week 1 is September 10.  Hopefully an easy win over the Belicheaters.

RTK might, he was trying to solicit earlier that Reddick will be doing a soft holdout to push for a new contract

Normally I'm for guys doing whatever they can to maximize their earnings but Reddick literally signed a FA deal last year.  2 years of top production would warrant an adjustment that helps cap short term imo

Too late.  I'm already thinking of Warren Sapp comparisons.

Wow.  Uh, the shine is off of Trey Lance for sure.

I still believe Jalen Carter has huge bust potential.  Let's see him get through this season without being a distraction, first and foremost.
