The Eagles organizational philosophy is to use LB as a transient position.  They spend the cap dollars on DL, DB, and fill the LB position from the clearance bin.

More than big-enough for off-ball LB. ELITE athlete for that size. Not worried about the agility scores given his bend.

If Nolan Smith can become Anthony Barr, that's an incredible W for us.

He bolded your WR5 comment.  I could see it.  However, I’ve taken to both bolding and italicizing anything I highlight.  It makes the highlighted text just a little more visible

I agree with that, which is why I included both Ngata and Jackson in my first pass roster.  It would be helpful if Calcatera could be a functional WR5 in addition to being TE3.

Josh Jobe and Kelee Ringo, is that your next starting CB duo when Slay and Bradberry are gone? It was encouraging to see Mario Goodrich was getting some burn at Nickel CB. I liked that they added him last year and think he has potential. It's weird that Jobe is older that Josiah Scott who's going in to his 4th year. Jobe has played inside too during camp. Being able to play outside and in the slot makes him very valuable. Could he make Maddox expendable? 

My excitement towards Greedy Williams has dwindled. I think the only time I saw his name mentioned was someone saying he's called for holding once a practice? 

I think the Eagles need to go heavy at CB this year if any of the young guys show an ounce of potential. I'd rather keep a CB who could grow in to a starting position than try to scramble and find a CB when they need one. 

Slay, Bradberry, Ringo, Maddox. Those are my 4 locks.

McPhearson and Jobe SHOULD be locks. That's 6 CB.

Goodrich, Williams, Garner, Scott, Ricks, McCollum round out the rest.  Goodrich has talent. Ricks and Garner have the pedigree and elite college talent. Williams just seems like too much of a gambler and penalty waiting to happen, even though his talent is there. Out of those 4, I might keep one as a 7th unless they outplay McPhearson (whcih might not be hard to do). I just think they have a lot to offer the team in a year or 2 and the risk of losing them on waivers isn't worth it at such a pivotal position. Scott and McCollum can go.

Dickerson can play center too, although I understand why you'd rather not move him there. But he is an option in a pinch.
