Josh Jobe and Kelee Ringo, is that your next starting CB duo when Slay and Bradberry are gone? It was encouraging to see Mario Goodrich was getting some burn at Nickel CB. I liked that they added him last year and think he has potential. It's weird that Jobe is older that Josiah Scott who's going in to his 4th year. Jobe has played inside too during camp. Being able to play outside and in the slot makes him very valuable. Could he make Maddox expendable?

My excitement towards Greedy Williams has dwindled. I think the only time I saw his name mentioned was someone saying he's called for holding once a practice?

I think the Eagles need to go heavy at CB this year if any of the young guys show an ounce of potential. I'd rather keep a CB who could grow in to a starting position than try to scramble and find a CB when they need one.

Slay, Bradberry, Ringo, Maddox. Those are my 4 locks.

McPhearson and Jobe SHOULD be locks. That's 6 CB.

Goodrich, Williams, Garner, Scott, Ricks, McCollum round out the rest.  Goodrich has talent. Ricks and Garner have the pedigree and elite college talent. Williams just seems like too much of a gambler and penalty waiting to happen, even though his talent is there. Out of those 4, I might keep one as a 7th unless they outplay McPhearson (whcih might not be hard to do). I just think they have a lot to offer the team in a year or 2 and the risk of losing them on waivers isn't worth it at such a pivotal position. Scott and McCollum can go.

Since Williams is (I believe) a vested veteran, the chances of him being on the 53 week one are very low.  They won’t want to guarantee his entire season salary.  He might get resigned during the season, but only if the younger players don’t pan out.

The were some reports that McCollum was getting moved to Safety.  If so he might end up on the Practice Squad.

seven CBS with Goodrich being the 7th is certainly a possibility.  Patrick Johnson’s injury makes that a bit easier to contemplate.

Dickerson can play center too, although I understand why you'd rather not move him there. But he is an option in a pinch.

Thanks for that.  It would be better if you didn’t have to change two positions if Kelce gets hurt, but that may be the way they go … and carry Toth or Tom on the Practice Squad.

I'm intrigued by Garner and curious to see how he does in the PS games. Good college, great size and he's been making some splash plays at camp. Even if he doesn't work out at CB he could be a S convert down the road.

If they make it to the Practice Squad there is a lot of potential in our developmental DBs.

Good on Nick for having them go over giving the ball to the ref to save time

Penny plays for 20 more years then the running back market is back on the upswinging… oh yeah

Ya'll wanted a new off-ball LB!

I wonder if this is because Desai wants to do more double a gap blitzes and wants to see how Smith can handle the position.

Overwhelmed? Struggling? Falling behind?' Not in Tanner McKee's vocabulary
Training camp can be an overwhelming experience for a rookie QB. But that's not the case for sixth-round pick Tanner McKee

An interesting read on NBCSports Philadelphia. https://www.nbcsportsphiladelphia.com/nfl/philadelphia-eagles/overwhelmed-struggling-falling-behind-not-in-tanner-mckees-vocabulary/531111/

Ok then, now beats are just contradicting themselves

Obviously, his "NFL source” isn’t good.

Sounds like an ACL. Bummer for him.

Not that an injury is every good but it could be the best thing for him in the long run. He MAY have had a roster spot down on the depth chart and ST.  However, Reddick and Smith are the guys. This happened early enough that he should be 100% with plenty of time to train for next year. If Reddick wants a new deal or Smith makes Reddick moveable, PJ now is now in line for that top backup role when Smith is the starter.

But, bummer for sure because he was making some noise.

I haven't heard McCollum's name once since he's been here. Doesn't he have a twin that a lot of people are very high on somewhere else?

Didn't realize BLG was a big dude. Surprising for how easily he gets butt hurt about things.
