The delusion is strong

Curious who these fools think that great 3rd QB would have been?   They wouldn't have won with Purdy healthy, or Johnson.  How would a guy worse than them be able to get it done?   (For reference purposes... I can't find anywhere who was on their team at the end of the season that might have even been available to travel with the team.)

BTW, this rule already existed... when the game day roster expanded from 45 to 46 dressed players, if the 46th was the third string QB, and there were some rules about how and when they could play.  Then they removed those stipulations and just let teams dress 46 players.  Blame still lies with the 49ers for not being prepared with a 3rd QB on game day.  But, I'm sure that 7th DB or 6th WR played a vital role in that game.

Kept digging... found the stud QB.  Jason Eason.  That's who was going to carry the 49ers to victory.   (He joined the practice squad on Nov 7th, 2022.  I'm sure he got a ton of practice reps with the ones.)

It’s also a matter of announcers not being required to be neutral, it’s just better for the broadcast if they try to be. There’s no way you can watch a Tony Romo-broadcasted Cowboys game and think he doesn’t want Dallas to win with every fiber of his being… but he does a good job of not outwardly showing it and he gets respected for that

If you go on his wiki page, since turning pro, his list of teams he belonged to by year outnumbers years played by a significant amount

Yeah, Johnson has been around. But somewhere is a QB that he beat out for a roster spot last year, and some 29er fans think that guy would have had a chance of scoring on us in that game.

Probably because waiting on Graham paid off for them. Flawed mindset though, I think we've seen his ceiling.

I would love to see the data that backs this claim. Then let’s see the % of people who can’t even afford it to begin with.

At this point he is an acceptable Dline rotational depth guy with the hopes he improves; I just don’t like that we gave him a 15m$ deal

It’s probably based on every American who ever turned on a tv

Everybody the 49ers put in to replace an injured starting QB in 2022 was better than the guy he replaced. So, obviously Eason would have been Super Bowl MVP.

Eagles breakthrough plan

1. Explain the offside penalty to Barnett and why this is not a good thing

2. See if Barnett can beat anybody without timing the snap

3. Accept reality and move on

Why?

Because he'd be an upgrade over Quez.  I don't think it would ever happen.  It'd have to be Hopkins wanting to win a ring so willing to come here to be a 3rd/4th option in a top flight offense for the purpose of winning a ring.

I’m on that list. Never been to a football game. The TV is just better.

Howie calling Florio out for being an NFL conspiracy theorist, love to see that

Just read this TNF flexing is weeks 13-17?  Damnit.  I'm trying to go to Eagles @ Seahawks this year.  Having to worry about this now screws things up a bit.

It’s worth the experience maybe 1-2 times a year imo. Besides when the weather sucks. Too hot, too cold, raining. F that.

So how long before Brady suits up for the Raiders?!
