Hurts succeeded at two top 5 college programs.  Learned four separate offenses in doing so.  (3 OC at Alabama, Riley’s offense at OU).  Tebow had a horrible delivery in college.

lol the overreaction here is weird...

I was being sarcastic and my post had 0 to do with Hurts

I remember this was a regular occurrence during Sirianni's first year as HC.

All-time performance, even with the fumble.

Still stunned how many crazy plays he made to keep that game close given our defense.

Kinda makes you realize that the coaching (yes Siri included) was at fault for the collapse.

Imagine they let Hurts take the reigns early in the game? Would've been up by 21+ and game sealed despite the defense...hindsight's a *****

Releasing Trevor Reid is a "WHO" moment for most, but I think it's notable. Guy has all the tools athletically and was apparently decent enough at camp. Wonder if he is a D-bag

Only way I see him making the roster is if they go with someone else on Ount Return than Covey.  Can't see them keeping 6 WRs.  I think higher likelihood they keep 4 TEs and 5 WRs.

Good athleticism for his size, extremely natural pass catcher. How did this guy not produce at Clemson...

Good to hear he's starting to get some first team reps.  From what I read he hadn't really been given much of a shot.  I think he can be a bit of a weapon in this offense if given the chance.

So if he’s the backup center now, do we think he gets stashed on the PS? It makes sense to keep him there and Jurgens can be the in-game backup if Kelce goes down. If Kelce has to miss a game Andrews gets signed or promoted on game day.

If development was bad, where are the prospects that went to other teams and blossomed under better coaching?

Problem was bad drafting, especially in the middle rounds where they drafted too many players suited to the NHL of the previous decade before rule changes put a greater premium on speed v size.

This was the prospects pool when they were considered one of the best in the league. Keep in mind, these players were thought highly of nationally, which is why fans got excited. Experts who watch hockey for a living were saying this pool would make for a good team.

Anthony Stolarz, Taylor Leier, German Rubstov, Pascal Laberge, Oskar Lindblom, Travis Konecny, Nick Cousins, Jordan Weal, Ivan Provorov, Samuel Morin, Travis Sanheim, Mark Alt, Robert Hagg, Carter Hart

Leier, Rubstov, Alt, Weal are the ones who completely flamed out.

Stolarz was rated as a solid backup I believe at that time. Had a rough season last year but had a nice 21-22

Laberge was ruined by injuries after a dirty hit from behind in juniors

Lindblom was blossoming until the cancer

TK still here

Cousins has found a nice niche as a bottom sixer

Provorov was a minutes eater who never lived up to his full potential. Why? Because the flyers can't develop anybody

Morin's knee blew out like 7 times

Sanheim still here

Hagg is a 7th D

Hart is a good starter who could have been better on a team with any semblance of a defense early on

Also add in Phil Myers who was looked at nationally as a hidden gem, that the flyers couldn't develop and at 25-26 years old probably isn't going to break out with another team

So you have 4 that truly burned out, a few that got hurt, and the ones who stayed and never reached their potential because their development blows. And thats just from those higher ranked pools

Nolan Patrick was one of the worst NHL draft selections of the past 20 years.  He's right there with Nail Yakupov.  The #2 pick is hard to screw up that badly, especially considering the #3, 4, and 5 overall picks from that draft have all had excellent NHL careers so far.

Yea due diligence wasn't done there or else they would've known about the migraine issue. But to say this like he wasn't a consensus #1/2 pick in that draft is wrong

Blankenship continues to make great plays on great players.

He will have Cox and Davis playing slot corner and safety soon.

DJ Uiagalelei isn't a good QB

It started with this gem, which is in regards to an observation from reporters that Dean hasn’t stood out in camp.

Imagine all the clicks such a provocative statement has generated. It couldn’t possibly be an honest observation. It’s clearly just clickbait!

Got em right where we want em.  Be great to have Davis push each receiver back 12 yards at the line of scrimmage 🙂

Your opinions maybe.  My opinions are like boobs on a bull.

Nick Bosa is still holding out of 9ers camp

Zach Martin is still holding out of Cowboys camp

Chris Jones is still holding out of Chiefs camp

Our 3 biggest obstacles to winning a ring.  Weird how that’s working out

Thought I saw a tweet or article saying Dallas plans to move on from Martin

I think it was PFF who had Foles as #1 passing and Hurts #1 overall.

Hurts 92.2  overall  Foles 91.9 overall

No idea if Foles got credit for his receiving skills. :Eagle_smiley:

If he didn't, the receiving skills should be worth .3

😉
