I like Ben VanSumeren.  Don't know that he's a week 1 starter.   Like the high ras and the versatility.  Would think that for 2023,  he could be a backup LB,  special teams, and I tend to like players playing on offense and defense.  He was a U Michigan FB/RB for 2 years, and led Michigan HSs in catches as a WR/TE/RB/QB in high school.  But the Eagles have many High ras + versatile - defense + offense. 

I would like to see those players playing non standard positions in preseason games, would be fun for me.

Steve young was kind of a raw athletic QB, he didn't just turn into one of the most efficient passes ever over night. He was more an athlete at QB but he turned into a deadly pocket passer who could still threaten defenses with his legs..

I don't think hurts is quite at youngs level as a passer yet and I'm not going to say he'll get there or won't but he's shown he's well on his way and I think the sky's the limit for him as long as he stays healthy.

Pretty much impossible to do.  Other than one dismal season in Tampa Bay with an historically bad team, Young wasn't a full-time starting QB until about age 30.

Chris Simms did say heading into the Eagles-Giants playoff game that he would take Danial Jones as QB going forward over Hurts.
