Not a bad bet, seeing as the eagles don't care about winning in pre season, not even a little, and the ravens have won 23 pre season games in a row.

The Sixers have made it past the 2nd rd of the playoffs once in 40 years.  It always ends the same

Just wait till an unmotivated, disgruntled and purposely distraction causing Harden shows up. They’ll be lucky to get to the 2nd round.

I thought it was sarcasm but its hard to tell. He did not link the box score. He linked video to the 2 very unimpressive dump offs.

Not the poster... the tweets that were included... NFL and Barstool.  @bpac55 was recognizing how foolish those takes are on him, especially considering that over 100 of the yards were put RAC and the two passes added together had about 0 yards of air flight.

The Giants gave up 3 TDs to the Falcons today. They only got a FG...

Oh wait, that was big bucks Steve Cohen's baseball team losing 21-3.

They have to go back out there after losing 21-3.

I won't be watching either way and the difference in outcome is minimal

Maybe we’ll get a series of starters?

This is so exciting.  Finally a Philly sports event this summer that means something.  First time since the Sixers lost in the playoffs.  Now we have this preseason football game tonight and that Messi soccer game on Tuesday.  The dull of summer sports is finally nearing it's end.

Hope they are just getting in uniform to go through their typical pregame warmups but don't actually play.

That’s the spirit that team deserves

Still 20x better than Ben Simmons in his feelings.

The Sixers are going to have to do him a favor at the deadline or a favor with sign and trade (if he does not want to join the Clippers at 8 million for 1 year) so its one thing to want a trade and another to be Carson Wentz to Doug Pederson.

I'm a philly sports fan since birth but other than the Eagles I'm only watching the games if I think they'll be entertaining.

Trey Sermon is gonna get a lot of carries tonight. Preseason for the Eagles is showcasing players for Howie to trade. You know he's itching.

The Phillies are only 3 Earned Runs behind the Braves.  They narrowed that yesterday to 3 from 8 by only giving up 2 Earned Runs while the Braves gave up 7.  Minnesota's offense is middle of the pack ... or a bit lower.  Braves have an easy series against the Mets though.  The two teams ahead of the Braves (in #8 and #7) are essentially 10 total Earned Runs better than the Phils. Is it "believable" that the Phills' pitching staff could go into next week as the 7th ranked staff based on ERA?  It boggles my mind.

They are already #7 based on WHIP, and being #4 is within striking distance.

Your baseball takes have been colder than pre-ovation Turner. No offense.

If you have any regular hobbies that you love, watching regular season games outside of the NFL is a waste of time. Wait until the playoffs.

The Sixers had no choice to keep him though. They weren't being offered more than Powell and Morris, and that doesn't work for the Sixers from a cap perspective. And it doesn't make them better. So no real reason to entertain the Clippers anymore. Roll with Harden and get your cap room next summer when he's gone along with Harris.

I've been told having Stout means we don't have to use premium picks (which I consider day 2 picks to be, especially Round 2) on OL.  I was told that because of Mailata and Kelce.  Of course, Kelce predated Stout here.  The blue print of bringing in a guy like Mailata is not one that can be used to success with great frequency.  The odds are just too long against that.  And the other OL we are discussing for this season - Dickerson, Jurgens, and Steen are all 2nd rounders... aka, premium picks.  And we still have the top 4 OL pick at RT in Lane Johnson.

With Stout, we've got great OL play for his entire tenure here... but he's not been able to really save this team using premium picks on OL.  The only player that really has fit that bill here is Mailata... but they still used a premium pick on LT with Dillard, so even that didn't save us anything in reality.

IMO, 2nd round picks are not premium picks. They're obviously very valuable, but there is a stark difference in quality between a late 1st and late 2nd. The hit rate in RD1 is above 50% while the hit rate once round 2 hits is sub 50%.

We've only used 2 1sts under Stout (Lane & Dillard).

The cowboys are losing in their pre season opener which is always good when they are losing. They just mentioned that single game tickets are on sale.

Fair... but, it's still very important picks.  And we have very high picks at OL with Dickerson, Jurgens and Steen.  It's not like the team has been able to go cheap at OL because of Stout.  They have gotten very good ROI, but still have made the investments at OL.

Fair enough. But I think an INT is an INT whether it happens in the PS, regular season, and post season. There’s clearly a difference in the importance but things that happen do matter.

Not really.  Does ERA matter in spring training? They might be working on certain things.

Redundant to add this.  Pre-ovation Turner was no offense!

No starters tonight. Just announced on WIP. Not a huge surprise tbh

The surprise would have been if they played.

I think for Sermon it's deciding if he's worth keeping over Penny or in addition to.  He'll get to showcase himself for that

None of our rookies are starters, so that's exciting.
