Given our LB play, would prefer Sydney Brown near the LOS against 12 personnel. Big Nickle > 3 LBs on the field.

In this case the source/messenger is irrelevant.  The important focus is the message/assessment itself.

You’re being weird.

Of the following WR players, how many are on your final 53-man roster ... and which ones?

Ward

Cleveland
Haselwood

With Smith, AJ, Quez, and Covey (Punt returns), Im likely only keeping 1. Between Haselwood or Ngata.

I'd guess 0

Bradley confirmed that he suffered a season-ending injury.

John Clark says it’s an Achilles tear for Bradley.

Yeah - he says "consider the source” then states the source doesn’t matter

clearly the source had no credibility since they said Brown had 4 tackles.

Sucks for him. He'll get paid where he might not have but I'm sure he wanted his shot

Our LBs right now are Nakobe Dean, Morrow, Elliss, Jack and Cunningham.

That's bad. If Elliss misses any time, we're in real trouble.

There have been rumblings of Jordan Hicks losing his job in Minnesota....

My notes from last night...

- I've never been more excited about one preseason pash rush snap in my entire life. Jalen Carter looks like the real deal.

- Nolan Smith didn't look ready yet as a pass rusher. Loved how he complemented Carter's rush though.

- Steen absolutely trucked a dude at one point, which got me pretty jacked up. Thought he looked the part at LT despite lacking good arm length. Think the Eagles have something with this guy.

- I've been consistent with this since the trade happened -- Swift is on another level from Sanders. Put this guy in bubble wrap.

- If I had to make a list of dark horse trade bait candidates, McPhearson and Boston Scott would lead the way. Neither would fetch much obviously.

- Jobe can play, to the point I wonder if he's got a shot to be CB2 once Bradberry leaves/declines. Am I crazy?

- Remaining draft picks... McKee looked the part. If he's keeps this up, what a value in the 6th round. Ringo looked rough at spots; hope his issues are correctable. Didn't watch the 2nd half defense enough to evaluate Brown/Ojomo.

- Biggest surprise? Justin Evans. Don't think the Eagles have 4 better safeties than this guy. Honestly, don't think Edmonds is...

The radio broadcast wasn’t any better.  Either every pass McKee threw was intended for Tyree Cleveland, or they had no real interest in providing commentary when the Eagles had the ball.

Don't wanna kick a man when he's down, but I wonder if Bradley was on the outside looking in for a roster spot. ST guy who really isn't that good on STs? Don't see the value of that when you have a stacked roster.

That is nothing new.  I always have been.

With that said, what is your take on the assessment?

5. All the safety candidates did some good things, and that competition for the second starting spot across from Reid Blankenship is getting really interesting. Terrell Edmunds had a sack and tackle for loss, K’Von Wallace was very active with five tackles, rookie Sydney Brown had four tackles and even Justin Evans – who’s been barely noticeable at training camp – had a couple big hits. I still think Edmunds is the leading candidate, but it’s a crowded field, and none of those guys hurt themselves in Baltimore.

Ward is the way to go.

I’m not sure why Blankenship would be penned in as a starter at this point

The NFL Gamebook reflects that same pattern.  It shows 10 targets to Cleveland and only 5 receptions.

Interesting take. Care to elaborate?

Good point.

My take on safety remains the same. With all the guys they have a good shot at average safety play. Possible upside with a Blankenship-Brown combo in long run but possible below average mix too.  I expect average

Sirianni getting cute on the two point and Jake missed FG is why we lost to the 24-0 Preseason Super Bowl Champs Ravens.   It was a fun game though.  We had them. Though Book didn't throw that great, he had a strong bursts.  I like how he was making things happen out there.  Quick Turnaround with a Thursday Home game.  I say give the starters a quarter and that's it.  But I blame Sirianni for the loss.  We should have just taken the extra piont.

I cannot tell if you are being sarcastic.  Bravo if you are and if you're not well...

Blankenship is not the incumbent starter at safety; he’s simply a guy left over from last season.  He backed up CGJ and Epps last season, and when CGJ got injured last season Blankenship drew in off the bench.  That doesn’t make him a presumptive starter this season — at least, it shouldn’t.

He may win the starting spot, but that remains to be seen.  If he does win the starting job, I haven’t been impressed enough by his play thus far to assume he’ll keep the job

Obviously sarcasm but still some truth about taking unnecessary risk.  My overall point was we had a chance to end that streak last night.

Was at the game. I don’t go to too many games but being there it’s real tough to pay attention to who is standing out off the ball or in the trenches.

I thought the td Ringo gave up was a great pass.

Swift is our best talent at RB by far. Gainwell does not have close to the upside that he does and they’re supposed to have similar skill sets.

Sermon doesn’t look like he runs very hard.

McKee looked solid for a rookie late round pick. I think he’s a better passer than Mariota who was quite disappointing. Thought he’d look like a guy who can be a starter when called upon.

Those are the only details I really got.

How does it feel to get bodied by Bacarty3?
