Interesting on Goedert:

Goedert, 28, said there are a bunch of areas in his game he wants to improve but what really stood out is that he’s been spending an awful lot of time with Eagles receivers — specifically A.J. Brown, DeVonta Smith and Greg Ward — to sharpen his routes and releases. Goedert will stick around after practices to work with the receivers.

No surprise "Coach” Ward is there.  Would like to have seen Quez mentioned too.  Wonder who is throwing to them.  Loved this from Brown.  (Hoping Quez, Zaccheaus, Covey and Allen are amongst those accepting his invitation. Stoll and Calcaterra too.

"He’s been doing a great job. I’m excited for him,” Brown said. "The more he works with us, the more he’s going to be moving around like us. I’m definitely excited for that. The more guys that come work with us, the better it’s going to be.”

Tryout but not expecting a signing.  Pretty much a bust.

Wonder how the Eagles 4th and 20 proposition will work when they eliminate the kickoff entirely in a few years.

One of the reasons Howie is a good GM is because he's always trying to improve the bottom of the roster.

Will this matter? Probably not. But you're hoping you hit on one or two of these visits. Keep taking shots.

I figured Howie would sign a vet OT. I thought Lewan if healthy would be a name, but not surprised by that in the least.

Trouble with the 4th and 20 is that the defensive holding penalty is an automatic first down.  In the case of a play in place of a kick off, there would need to be a different set of rules for penalty enforcement.  Like maybe needing to gain the yards... so a defensive holding call becomes a 10 yard (or just the 5 yards it is now) and a replay of the down, not an automatic first down.

Good. Kid deserves a 2nd chance after all that BS. Would love to get him here and send Siposs packing.

I can not wait to see this kid play. He SHOULD have a big chip on his shoulder.

I think Lewan is still a starter in the league and I'd assume he holds out until there's an injury.  Fluker is strictly veteran depth.

Working out Fluker is fine for what it is, but I wouldn't want him starting or even playing. He still looks slow and is already 32. I wonder if they are viewing his as a T still or a RG.

He also has tackle and guard versatility. He’s actually started nearly as many games at guard ( if pro football reference is correct) as he has at tackle. Which means he can play RG if need be if jurgens or steen aren’t cutting it. Or if Driscoll gets hurt or isn’t cutting it as a swing tackle. Then again you ideally hoping he’s just your backup

Cross your fingers, no more Siposs. Have Araiza vs Zentner and let the best man win.

I wonder if teams will try more squib kicks because it's hard to signal for a fair catch when you field them.

He hasn't played since 2020?

Can you even fair catch a squib kick? Once it hits the ground I'd think it's not an option.

Ever hear of a NARP?

Stands for non-athletic regular person.

Last time he played a game. He bounced around some practice squads in 2021

He's close to being eligible for AARP

I think Eric Fisher is still available and might be fine with a back up role.

So if you think you can kick inside the 25 why not try that every time.

I don’t think so. I think that’s part of the reasoning an onsides kick is kicked to bounce off the ground first so that a FC can’t be made.
