Just for the Blog I'm going to power rank all 300 of Harper's home runs

  • I hope all the dads here had a wonderful fathers day

Some other things I noticed from watching the videos.

Smith's speed showed up on the one rep where he had the qb hit. Just went right by the tackle. He also had a pressure when he ran a stunt. It seems like the reps where he didn't try to just run around the tackle were pretty pedestrian, but I think that's not going to change.

On the big run where he got sucked inside, the Ravens ran a combo block on Davis, and the LB (Ellis) ran right into it. Had Smith set the edge, I think Davis would have made the tackle since he beat his man once he wasn't being doubled. So I think a good play by Davis to force things outside, and a bad play by both Smith and Ellis.

That big run by the ravens was a weird play, there were like 4 ravens o linemen on the ground, yet the RB rips it🤷‍♂️

I knew we had a tough schedule but didn’t pay much attention to it until last night.  This schedule could be one of the most difficult schedules I’ve seen in the last 20-30 years - at least on paper.

12+ games against potential playoff teams with 3-4 of those teams being potential Super Bowl contenders.  And a 5 game stretch in the 2nd half of the season against Dallas, KC, Buffalo, San Fran and then Dallas again?

Like who came up with this madness?  🤷🏻‍♂️

Well it seems only fair after last year when we "literally" played "no one" and were granted a bye into the Super Bowl. Or so I was led to believe anyway.

It'd be one thing if this was shot during the year and aired after.  But this will be airing new episodes thro8ghout the season?  Hate this.  Just asking for this to be a distraction.

Yup, that was a product of Davis beating his man and Smith crashing inside.

I understand people like it but for my taste there's way too much media content these days.

I'm kinda surprised Kelce agreed to it. I've said it before but it feels like this is his last year for real for real now.

As many have alluded to, there's really tough decisions to make at CB.

I seriously do not want to lose any of the main young guys. Jobe, Ricks, Garner, Ringo (obviously). Greedy can easily go. Goodrich would be the only one I'd be willing to part with if needed. Unsure what to do with Zech. I've never been much of a fan but he could be our top backup slot right now. I'd hate to keep him over a Garner to watch him get picked up elsewhere. Not sure if Jobe can move to the slot or not.

I don’t get the dislike for McPhearson.  He has taken snaps at outside corner and quite successfully.  He has looked solid in the nickel this summer.  Jobe looks better this summer but I don’t think we should assume he has passed McPhearson.  Can someone point out McPhearson’s failures in coverage?  Ringo looked stiff.  Garner looked a step slow.  We have seen four defenses by Ricks against the Ravens camp body QB.   Goodrich, who you are willing to part with, played against Huntley and looked okay.  He is quick but a tad slow.

At least for me its not a dislike for McPhearson, its more the higher potential the others have. McPhearson doesn't get on the field a whole lot and primarily plays special teams. McPhearson had 99 defensive snaps last year, 11 more snaps than Robert Quinn... He actually played less in his 2nd year than he did his rookie year.

Yup, I think McPherson is fine, I was confused last year when Gannon would play Josiah Scott over him, Scott is trash.

Yep. There was an OZ to the right where he got 8-9 yards that impressed me. He was in a crowd and managed to pick his way to a nice gain. More impressive than running through a big hole.

  When I first read this, I was seeing OZ as being Zaccheaus not outside zone.  I am thinking Zaccheaus didn’t play and given he can’t be much of a blocker, what is the significance that he was on the right side?

Would definitely make more sense to do it this year - document his last year in the league, leading up to him winning the Super Bowl and riding off into the sunset
