Damn - Michael Oher must have already blown through all his $ from his playing days

Could be that he's just trying to shake them down for money after blowing through it, or could be that they persuaded him into a conservatorship back then knowing they'd have more control over how to steer his future business deals, or some combination of both. Either way, the truth will likely come out now that it is bound to play out in court. That amount of money leaves a trail, so their claims that they were paid a flat fee from the movie and never got royalties suddenly looks suspicious in light of this article.

Swift and Gainwell should also both be trained in the slot.  Need both those guys on the field at the same time.  No need for Covey to hold a spot

Covey is the punt returner and I don't see why he can't be a backup WR.   I do like the idea of a wide variety of players playing that "non star" spot.  Slot, or TE2 or FB.   The Eagles have 2 WR stars and 1 TE star, and those players usually play almost all the snaps on offense.  And there's that other position,  which throughout the history of football was the Fullback spot until recently.

Gotta keep Andrew's.  No one else capable of stepping in at Center besides Jurgens who is going to be in at RG.

Landon

Was never a fan of his secondary but his Dline was awesome during his time here

Seems like he's kicked it into high gear

We’re gonna start the season 0-1

The movie made it seem like they were already very well off. I think he owned a bunch of fast food chains. If that’s the case, they definitely aren’t hurting for cash.

They wouldn't be the first family that was well off and yet still engaged in shady business deals.

Not great.

Eagles are getting owned

Bradberry is getting some slot work. I wonder if that’s a wrinkle for Lamb or maybe Waller.

Might be looking at the 2nd joint practice loss of the Sirianni era.

I thought sheil nailed it on the head when talking about desai on his podcast. He’s going to lineup guys all over and do things they aren’t exactly comfortable with. So if they ever have to do it and change it up it’s not going to be foreign to them and they’ll have some comfortability doing so.

Good day for Carter it seems

The body bag practice.

They need an option of someone who can come in and play center without reorganizing the entire offensive line mid-game in the scenario where Kelce gets injured.

I don't think that the ENTIRE offensive line needs to be reorganized.

Just 2 positions.

And you don't need to have that.

Different question.  This one is "what happens if Kelce gets hurt".

How about - what happens if Brown or Smith get hurt at WR?

What do people have for that one?

At the OL spot,  the Eagles have at least one guy who is good enough, or should be good enough with time, Steen.

At the WR spot,  the Eagles don't have a guy who isn't playing,  but could come in and play.

If Brown or Smith are hurt,  the Eagles are in trouble.   I would assume that Howie would go shopping if that happened.

Replacing 2 positions on the offensive line due to one injury is not good and should be avoided by having someone who can step in during a game even if after that game you then shift people around to accommodate if Kelce misses multiple games.

We’re losing today. Time to accept it and move on. 0-1 isn’t the end of the world, we’ll get them tomorrow

Andrews is more valuable that Johnson or Ricks easily, IMO. I want a backup center so if something happens to Kelce, we don't have to change 2 positions (Jurgens to C, Steen to RG).

Scott or Sermon are more valuable than Ricks. Someone needs to return KOs.

A 7th CB is basically worthless. If he is ever playing, we are screwed.

Depends on who that 7th CB is. In this case, The Eagles would be keeping a 7th CB to protect him for the future. Just look at last year with Trey Sermon. There were no intentions of Sermon playing last year. He was on the roster for his potential this year.

Josh Andrews is a 32 year journeyman guard who's hung around the league without playing much on Sundays at all. The Eagles might have a wealth of young talent at CB. Combnine that with veterans who are on their way out, I want those young CB on the roster as potential replacements or even high end backups.
