How on earth is this narrative still being peddled? Sermon has showed next to nothing.

I think it's more likely we keep 5 RBs. Sermon didn't have a breakout game or anything, but he had some nice effort runs. His numbers weren't great because that one stuff in the backfield for that big loss. IMO, he's better than what some here think. Out of all our RBs, there are only two that are still under contract after this season --- Gainwell and Sermon. I expect they'll find a way to keep Sermon since they are high on him.

Good luck with Dazn.  Plan for multiple stream resets and lots of buffering - don't do a shot every time it does that unless you want a visit to rehab..

It is just horrible. And i can't find replays, only highlights. And now it seems the all22 isnt included anymore.

So are starters a go tonight? or was that false reporting.

I don't remember Nick playing starters in preseason. IIRC he's said he values the joint practice for starters more than preseason

Sounds like Swift is inactive and the other RBs are playing.

Insulting that they are having Dean play tonight.  I hope he uses it to put a chip on his shoulder this season.

Why is it insulting?he didn't play game 1, got to get him on the field before game one of the season.

If he plays the whole game that would be disrespectful.

He’s not some defensive star. He still needs to prove himself. That isn’t insulting.

He's a star to me.  And he will be a star to you soon enough.

The starters didn't play in game 1 either.  He's a starter.

Even if he was it's not disrespectful to get him a couple snaps in the pre season, he's been in and out of the med tent all summer, didn't play the 1st game let him get out there shake off the rust and prove he can play a few snaps without getting hurt.

He was a great, great player. I don’t think he was as good as Moss for instance though. Moss could do all of the acrobatics of Fitz, but had the blazing speed to go with it.

I think that's fair.  Great teammate and maybe a better person to have around, but Moss was more talented.

I present to you, the absolute worst jersey number for a player of all time. Teddy Bridgewater.

Eric Woodyard on Twitter: "#Lions QB Teddy Bridgewater jokingly tells ESPN that the No. 50 was inspired by The 50 Boyz from the BMF show in Detroit. Says he'll wear it in

People forget Otto Graham's original number.

What kf they are wait8nf to sign. The punt God until right before week 1 so players won't have to deal with questions about him since all .edit focus will immediately ve on week 1 action.

Hard to believe, but this may be one of your worst takes ever.  Former 3rd round pick, who has never started a game in the NFL, yet somehow you think he's "earned" a pass to be the starter without having to play in PS?   Uh... no.

What if Foles was yelling hot cocoa or iced tea

Huh? Josh Allen is white and was calling out a white defender at the line. How would it be similar if Foles said hot cocoa?

Nakobe Dean barely played last year AND needs the reps in a new defense. No-brainer to start him.

I don't see 5 RBs on the roster.  I see no more than 4 on the roster, and at least 1 more on the PS.

Yup.  It would be good for him to get some practice with the green dot and making the calls in a live setting.  This idea that a guy who has never started a game in the NFL has somehow 'arrived' and is beyond playing in the PS is just a joke.

Eagles have clearly made him starter since OTAs.  This is Nakobe Dean's defense.  The organization has given him the keys to the car.

Did they ever bring him in to check him out? Kind of surprised if it was reported they never looked into him once he was cleared of the criminal accusations

Nick has had most starters play a drive or two in the first preseason games the last two years. I think he changed his approach this year in part to playing late in the year at the Super Bowl.

If that's the case than they may want to see how he drives that car before they hand over the title...

.  Keep the hot takes and ridiculous hyperbole coming.

Funny thing about getting the keys to the car... you have to prove you can handle it, and not smash it into the first retaining wall or guard rail that comes along.   Dean needs to EARN the position.  He'll get his opportunities to do that, but if he falters... that's why they brought in Jack and Cunningham.
