Nah.  It does.  The costs are sunk for his contract, granted cutting him would accelerate $3+M to this year's cap, but that money is spent anyway... on next year's cap anyway.  He can't be allowed to hurt the team in two ways... bad enough to pay him $5+M, worse to have him cost the team games if he is ever called on to play.

Wonder if keeping Minshew was possible or if he signed with the colts because he thought he had a chance to start. Minshew is better than Mariota at this point.
