Other than that, he played for Stanford - which could go both ways for a QB - Not a major program so he played against lesser competition but on the other hand, he also played with less talented O Linemen, offense, etc - which could bode well for him when playing with an extremely talented offense like the Eagles.

One opinion on him.

Interesting. Pretty inexperienced but really improved year 1 to year 2. He's intriguing for sure. If he can show he can handle pressure he might be legit legit. I don't really care if he can't run 

Our LBs can play man. We're fine there.

The offense would have to look different for him at Qb vs Hurts, but a good coaching staff could work around that.   The pieces around the QB position on this team shouldn't require a running QB, just an accurate one that can properly deliver the pass on time and on target.

Devon Allen won't be making the practice squad this year.
