Didn’t watch, but Jordan Davis is the only player I’m worried about.  (Not even sure if he played tonight).  I really think time will show they invested that pick in a rotational run stopper.  It just looks like he’s an anchor and nothing more.

And…the only other thing worth mentioning…Mariota’s $$$ is guaranteed and he’ll be the first off the bench in the even of disaster, but I’d have a very quick hook to McKee, who I honestly think would give them a better chance to win.

Nah.  He's an absolute freak of nature, but he's just not an NFL WR.   World class speed alone doesn't translate to the football field.   The Eagles should have learned that long ago with John Wesley Carlos.

Ending up with Carter makes it look a little better at DT with that duo, but yeah you don’t want to burn a top 15 pick on a run-stopping DT.

At this point, I think Ron Jaworski would give them a better chance of winning than Mariota.

Worked out pretty well for the Patriots with Vince Wilfork.  I will practice some more patience.  We'll know a lot more at the end of this season than we did at the end of last year.

Some of the analytics guys said Jordan Davis was good in his limited role last year. PFF gave him a 71.4 for one example.

I think he will be good and I think the tandem will be excellent.

That’s actually an interesting thought. The short answer is no but at what point do they wussify it to the point where they have to go back to making it more physical. Because at the end of the day $ rules
