I actually went back and reviewed the allegations and civil suit details and I have a lot of thoughts on it, that I may get into later. I think there's been enough punter debate for now, so I'll get into it if Araiza's name ever comes up in an official capacity.

I know it's show-fodder, but Howie has shown us continually how he views the RB position and it seems like no one pays attention to it. It's there in plain sight and has been for a while. It's a bottom tier priority for him, and now other teams are taking a similar approach. He didn't pay Miles, gave up a 4th for Ajayi in 2017, gave up a 2025 4th for Swift, signed Penny to a one year deal. He's not going to contribute significant capital to that position, and he shouldn't.

My guess is that Dean and Cunningham get the start at LB, and Edmunds starts next to Blankenship, but Cunningham comes off the field on any passing down and Brown comes on. So we are essentially going to be in dime roughly half of the time.

I think a lot of it is that we were spoiled too long. Westy to shady set us up to want a stud there. And Philly media will clamor for every name there is

Yet we won a Super Bowl with a RB rotation of Blount, Clement and Ajayi.......all played a part, none of them were a lead back but without each of them, don't think we have the season or outcome we did.  The days of Jim Brown are gone......better to have multiple guys (on cheap contracts) in my opinion.  Which, by the way, they do.  I'm feeling good about Gainwell, Swift, Penny and Scott.  As long as Scott only plays in the Giants games lmao
