EMB Blog: 2023 Camps and Preseason - NO POLITICS

Everyone talks about how easy it is to find RBs. I really tire of having such unplayable scrubs on our roster for pre-season games. We have totally sucked at finding late round and UDFA RBs pretty much forever.

Even when we have a guy, like Mostert, the team cant recognize it.

We cant develop the position. We cant scout the talent. There is never anyone in the pipeline and we end up having to trade for vets to fill holes.

How did the Colts recover that?

these guys couldn’t catch the crabs on a three day port of call in the Phiippines

He wanted it more than the 2 Eagles would be my guess.

Well... we do have 4 guys ahead of Brooks... 3 guys above Sermon.   But I was right there with you on Mostert.

We have blitzed our LBs a ton in all 3 pre-season games.

How many points do the Eagles have to be ahead to survive an Ian Book 4th quarter?

What exactly does clay do as a coach on special teams.

I mean it doesn't matter whose back there in PR they're getting lit up by ten unblocked guys every time

It's unreal

Would love another drive down the Colts' throats here to end the half.    Take the lead before we go to halftime and have the last laugh.

yeah. injury prone vets Swift and Penny, and a mediocre talent in Gainwell that needs to be overhyped by the media. Scott is meh...

And its not just this year. We need to do a better job of bringing in more exciting talent there. Its not supposed to be this hard.

I’ve seen a few tweets saying Taylor is in the stadium but he isn’t on the sideline. Have they showed him on tv? Negotiating with Howie?🤔😅

They treat RB and LB very similarly.  Bargain bin shopping.

Freakbeast sighting!

yeah. And they can do that and still find better talent though. The fact that Kennedy Brooks is here for a 2nd year kind of proves my point. They dont know what talent looks like at the RB position, unless theyre looking at an already proven vet to bring in.

Not sure how they figure out how to keep tyree Jackson but he's looked good.

Jackson>Calcaterra

Taylor will be a Colt after the Tues deadline. Colts are not going to pull the trigger on a reasonable deal. They are looking for someone to over pay which won't happen

Jackson legit ?

Mckee can play. Sit him down

Tyler Steen is just not ready to start.

As they should.  We've got a very good RB rotation right now.

We're fine there.
