Jackson playing in this game, and Calcaterra not playing (at least to this point) points to Calcaterra being ahead of Jackson.   Subject to change if Calcaterra comes out in the second half.  But the second TE in this half has been Arnold.  Hard to believe that Arnold would be ahead of Calcaterra as well.

They are being smart with the cap but these are not bargain bin players.

Its not like he was a 1 year disappointment that could be explained away by some unfortunate circumstance. He was a disappointment for his entire collegiate career. That signing didnt excite me.

I was disappointed overall by the WR UDFA class but I had hope Haslewood might prove to be a new version of Paschal. 

In the end looks like none of them are worthy of a spot. Maybe Cain can stick this time. Hes been pretty consistently good in his opportunities here both years.

Pittman and Pierce is an awesome test for a bunch of UDFA CBs. Great to see them going up against legit competition to see who isnt just giving us a pre-season mirage against scrubs.

Yup. I've been a big Sermon guy but I think tonight was a showcase for a trade, maybe even the Colts, regardless of where Taylor ends up. If Taylor goes to Miami, Sermon could be attractive for them. 

Roll with Boston Scott but bring in fresh blood on the PS.
