Sermon is so slow, how was this dude a 3rd rounder???

So Eli Ricks ain’t making it to the PS. Nice night against a couple of good WRs.

not sure why we would even consider cutting him. Hes earned a spot.

Not sure who has excess WRs, but I would be very tempted to trade Ricks for a end of the roster WR.

No way. Ricks has potential and I think he has starting potential down the road. You don't get rid of that for WR5.

McKee has outplayed Richardson with backups, and it hasn't really been close.

Forget Sermon getting anything for them in a trade

Yep. We'll see what they think, though.

he has managed to look good in pre-season a few times through the years. He always disappoints in the regular season, and then gets injured for the rest of the year. Fools gold. Do not want.

I don't know that he's disappointed in season he just kept getting hurt.

When healthy he's looked like a good developmental guy.

I like his size over Calcaterra though I'm betting coaches Howie like calcaterra durability over Jackson's development.

Frankly think the eagles pick someone off waivers after cut downs to add to the WR group.

I agree with everyone tonight on Ricks, I wanted to see him make some plays and he has.

Allen has shown the value of his speed. He needs to catch another 1,000 punts so lets bring in a few other punters to keep him busy 👀

Sermon has been good. He got in for the TD and he is getting the yards available in the passing game and made one very nice catch. It might be hard to stash him again.

Correct. Jobe, Ricks, maybe even Garner and Goodrich. We may already be set for the days when Slay and Bradberry are gone. You dont give that up for an end of the bench WR.

Debating on whether to watch 2nd half, Book makes my eyes bleed and I'm out of gauze...

Agree with everyone and I said this earlier. A 5th RB and a 6th WR can be cut any day of the week for a CB & DT

hes made some awesome pre-season catches, and then has very disappointing drops in regular season. Then gets injured. Its not just the injuries (though theres been enough of those). He does disappoint on the field first.

Yup, exactly

Eli Ricks may never start a game in the league. He was a UDFA. We're not getting any real assets for him in a trade.

Oh you’ll watch

Look...he may end up just being a backup his entire career, but the kid looked exactly how you'd hope QB2 would look against a starting defense. He didn't look out of place, made some nice throws, and had a good half. It's a shame MM is going to waste a roster spot.

Good. we shouldnt even explore that anyway.

Love the NFL script commercial. 🤣

I mean I guess he's barely played any season games, and when he does it's as a 3rd TE.

I mean I can't remember anything good or bad from him in season because he's barely played or been hurt

Not sure how they figure out how to keep tyree Jackson but he's looked good.

The competition from the depth WRs has been anemic, so they can keep him instead of a Depth WR.

They just finished 4 years of a 2nd round pick RB who played very well.

They just traded for a former 2nd round pick and a former 1st round pick.

They are being smart with the cap but these are not bargain bin players.

Yes, they invested a 2nd in Sanders... 4 years ago.

As for the second line... where the player had been drafted in the past is irrelevant.  What did they give up for them?  The Eagles gave up a FOURTH ROUND pick in 2025 (not even a 2024 pick, that makes it a 6th round value as they measure it) and swapped 7th rounders to get Swift.  - aka, bargain price.

Who is the former 1st round pick that they traded for?  Penny was a free agent, signed to a one year, prove it deal - aka, bargain price.

Yup MM is trash, if he wasn't guaranteed 5 mil or whatever it is he'd get cut
