I mean I guess he's barely played any season games, and when he does it's as a 3rd TE.

I mean I can't remember anything good or bad from him in season because he's barely played or been hurt

Hes been hyped enough that when he gets his 1 or 2 targets in a regular season game, and drops it, it stands out.

I know theres been very few, but they stand out to me as being disappointingly bad.

Then, he gets injured, and Im like- well hes not good enough to keep waiting for anyway. And then the eagles just keep waiting for him.

Eli Ricks may never start a game in the league. He was a UDFA. We're not getting any real assets for him in a trade.

There’s a good chance your 5th wide receiver is in the same boat as ricks and can find that an 5th WR after cut downs that they’ve scouted and liked.

Jackson legit ?

Starting to think we really need to keep Jackson on the 53.  Definitely over Ngata

The competition from the depth WRs has been anemic, so they can keep him instead of a Depth WR.

I'd be fine with that, though I could see them keeping Greg ward instead just to make me and half the fan base eye roll...😒

Justin Jefferson is just a slot...😉

McKee has outplayed Richardson with backups, and it hasn't really been close.

He's only 15/27 and no TDs.  What a terrible performance.   He's definitely no Mariota.

Nah I think covey is making the team

They aren't going into the season with  Greg Lewis returning punts

Agree with everyone and I said this earlier. A 5th RB and a 6th WR can be cut any day of the week for a CB & DT

Any of those extra RBs or WRs can sit on the PS without fear of being poached.

Al Harris was an UDFA and played a very big role for the early 2000's Eagles and then a solid starter for the Packers.

That's fair.

I think with his size speed combo coaches will keep waiting on  him.

Not sure if it will ever pay off but would be great if it did

It's possible, but it's unlikely.

Yes, they invested a 2nd in Sanders... 4 years ago.

As for the second line... where the player had been drafted in the past is irrelevant.  What did they give up for them?  The Eagles gave up a FOURTH ROUND pick in 2025 (not even a 2024 pick, that makes it a 6th round value as they) and swapped 7th rounders to get Swift.  - aka, bargain price.

Who is the former 1st round pick that they traded for?  Penny was a free agent, signed to a one year, prove it deal - aka, bargain price.

So where a player is drafted is irrelevant. So is what you pay them.

What are your RB relevance rules that the Eagles are failing?

The career  5.7, 4.6, 4.4, and 4.3 yards per carry for the top 4 backs is completely relevant.

The 17 TDs those 4 scored last year is relevant.

What I like about Jackson's performance these 3 games is he looks natural catching and turning up field now. There's no fighting the ball or wasted movements. He's looked incredibly smooth. I'll take his potential as a mismatch over Calcaterra.

Udfa with the bucs if I remember them cut and picked up by eagles.

Having said that at the time eagles fans hated Al calling him PI Al...

I always liked him.

My point was more about trading ricks for a 5th/6th wr he was discussing earlier. I think covey is on the team. I tend to think Watkins and zaccheus make the roster as well. But id be shocked if they traded ricks for a 5th/6th type WR especially when they can likely find that type of guy after cutdown. I think they’ll add one waivers if they really like someone who’s cut or sign one not on the team currently to the PS that they also like.

Quintin Mikell was a UDFA and became a 2nd team all-pro twice.

You're right. Al Harris was Jalen Mills before Jalen Mills could walk.

Al Harris with green dreads...😄

I really like Funk, he's a great special teamer, tough runner good receiver, he's the kind of guy I'd want on the end of my roster that can do a bunch of dirty work.

He was the pick 6 after "We want the ball and we're gonna score"

Jake Funk, formerly of the Rams drafted out of Maryland. One of my guys in that draft class. An example of the late round talent at RB the eagles should be able to identify.
