Still don’t understand why SF traded him, unless he was putting up a stink. 1 QB injury and his value to them skyrockets… but only for a 4th?

I image his value had already bottomed out.  Would make way more sense to keep him for the year and see what happens. Could have likely gotten the same value for him after the season.

Keep him for 2 years. Darnold had injury problems last year too, not just Purdy. Even the slim chance Lance develops into an average QB is worth far more than a 4th rounder. I don’t get it

I’ll reuse a joke from the other thread:

Now they have now spent 4th round picks on two QBs that suck

Name a more iconic duo

They’re not a smart organization but they know what a bust is.

Were you going for forest Gump here or am I the only that read it in his voice..

You are completely useless.

The roster bubble players I've been hyping are the players who have been playing the best.

The basic data analysis I'm been doing,  finding the top ras players, and then watching them do great,  is useful.   What you're doing is not.

The Eagles have been occasionally picking up the udfas I'm been banging the table for.  I was banging the table for Tyree on a different message board.  I requested VanSumeren here on day 3 as a udfa.

You do nothing of use.  Memes and chitterchat.

 Dude, you’re like a fat chick with no boobs…completely useless. You write these paragraphs-long diatribes thinking that you sound intelligent. Meanwhile, every single person in here either subtly mocks you, openly mocks you, or just puts you on ignore. Seriously, just go away. The blog would be 1000% better.

Let it go.  Let him blather on with his arguments and ignore them.

Eh, I’ve done it for long enough.

Even if Ojomo is weeks away they have 4 DT who can play beyond Street. How many active on gameday anyway?

5 really. Carter, Davis, Cox, Williams, Marlon.

Loved him at LSU. The kid has the right level of cockiness for an outside CB.

Johnny Vander Meer in the month of June 1938 is the only one to ever do something... twice... maybe.

Edit: Framber Valdez might not come back for the 8th at 114 pitches through 7.

when are cuts?

He’s quietly publicly complained in the past. It was probably worse behind closed doors.

When the Niners line gets the first two QBs killed by November, you get to see what Lance has and decide on the 5th year option.

Lance got 4 entire starts in SF and one of them was on a slip and slide in Chicago after a monsoon.

He is nowhere near ready (Dak leverage is laughable) and no way could Shanahan properly evaluate him.

The trade for Dallas isn’t bad. If Lance turns it around in Dallas they got a good QB for a 4th. If he stinks…it’s only a 4th.

To be fair Dak is the greatest statistical QB in NFL history... when facing 7th string UPS guys at CB or throwing 5 TDs vs backup defenses in meaningless games.

Outside of that he's a J A G

That's how I would describe Reagor, on field.

Off the field too.. the one tweet with the headphones comes to mind.

And then there was this..

Actually think Lawrence risk going to be fine. Urban really screwed him and that team his first year.

Trevor Lawrence last 9 games of 2022:

70% completion, 2300 yards, 7.5 ypa, 15-2 TD-INT, 7-2 record. Lawrence said it took about half the season for it to "click” how Doug wanted him to run the offense

Jags OC Press Taylor said Lawrence is miles ahead of where he was last year at this time because of knowing the offense going into the offseason. Then added Calvin Ridley and I fully expect Lawrence to have easily the best QB season in Jags history

It’s nightmare trades likes this that make me grateful that we have Howie. We have an outside chance of getting more for Jaelen Reagor for crying out loud.

Apparently the Bills were the other team after Lance, but Dallas topped their offer.

People complaining just to complain.

Wasn't complaining. I just  like the way the Steelers attack LB and WR. He's a guy I liked in the draft too so seeing him have success stinks a little bit.

49ers sent their young prospect to a Conference rival.  After all that crying in the NFC Title game.   SMH.   Well looks like NFC East seems to be going young at QB.  Jalen, Daniel, Sam Howell.   I wouldn't say Dak's on the hot seat per say but it's definitely getting a little warmer for him with a young QB in the wings.

Howie did trade a 4th last year at the deadline for a handicap parking sticker though
