I think someone should claim Jackson, but there just wasn’t room for him here. 

Didn’t realize that waivers are in effect until Tuesday so arguably any player waived until Tuesday at noon can be recalled and traded.

It was a self righteous diatribe in The Sporting News about how the ugly nasty Philadelphia fans would forever suffer the desolate reality of the Eagles moving on from backup QB Doug Pederson. We were evil to not have the proper respect for his elite QB skills and so on...

 

Him coming back as coach to win a SB just made it better.

Smart to leak it early so playoff teams know he’s available to trade. Would hate to miss out on him because of a low waiver priority.

I think he has potential and should be on a 53 somewhere. But Calcaterra was an easy choice.

That's not why I didn't watch any, I just have a lot going on at home and haven't been able to watch any. I have a streaming TV package and a VPN with Philly servers, (which rarely works now). But because it did work in the past and because I set automatic recordings for all Eagles games in Philly, it automatically records all Eagles games and I also set up pre and postgame live recordings, so I get those too. Along with various Eagles shows. So I have all of the pre-season games available. 

Eagles games are the only ones that I can make time to watch though, for the other games, I'll just see what the scores were when they end.

I think Jackson is right on the edge and that's ignoring his injury history.  Agreed Grant was easy choice

I don't think anyone is overrating him by saying he deserves to be TE3 instead of Grant Calcaterra.

Technically only 4-year vets get 'cut' and are not subject to waivers.

Other players are actually 'waived'.
