Another bad at bat. Turner has no business swinging at the first pitch when Hudson can’t find the zone. Make him have to throw you a strike you can hit. 

At least we got a run. Better than most of the time with bases loaded

Yeah... but it should have been a bigger inning.  Make him throw a strike.  He's all over the place... and the Phillies are helping him.

At least Harper picked Turner up.

Yup. What irritates me with them on offense is they swing at way too many pitches out of the zone. They are third in baseball at swings at pitches out of the zone. It kills a lot of potential big innings. Guys like Turner, castellanos and relamuto have been the biggest culprits this year. 

Stott is so freaking good. 

i swear this week I’ve seen like 5 ridiculously tough catches against the Phillies.

I feel weird also that harper hitting like .301 and stott hitting .295 are 9th and 10th in mlb average

Hard to believe he got thrown out there at second... but... at least we got the run.   I can't be mad about going for 2nd with 2 outs.  Making the 3rd out at 3rd is stupid.  Making the 3rd out at 2nd is just aggressive.

They hadn’t had a game in a while where they got thrown out trying to get an extra base or base running mistaken in a couple days. Lol.

Yeah... but that was a good spot to try for it.  At 2nd, he's in scoring position with 2 outs.  That's better than at first and a force at 2nd or 1st.  I'm fine with smart aggressive.  That one qualified, and really took a perfect throw.

Yeah i didn’t mind that one given the situation. The base running mistake that really cost them this week was in the loss to the giants. With 2 outs bohm should’ve been running on contact and aggressive. He didn’t and wasn’t. Cost them a run. Which ultimately was the difference before heading to extras.

I missed that game.  So, I didn't see it.  Second time that Bohm made a base running blunder that cost us a run in the last month or so.
