If wheeler pitched better against the nats this year, he’d have a case for cy young award. He’s got a 2.97 era and a 1.01 WHIP vs. everyone else. Against the nats 7.48 era and a 1.43 WHIP

Good news is we won't face them in the playoffs.    And October matters more than individual accolades.

I’m hoping Ranger or nola can step up to he no. 2 behind him cause they are gonna need it in the postseason.

I actually agree with what smoltz said about the dbacks earlier in the game. Gallen and Kelly are top 5 1-2 pitching combo in baseball. It’s a scary team to have to face in the best of 3 series if dbacks actually can use both in that series on normal rest.

Whatever happened to mlb potentially getting that mercy rule? Was talked about right after the pandemic then they kind of just scrapped it entirely.

I wanted to try kingery. He was raking in the minors for like 2 months and they refused to for Harrison and now Castro.
