I don't think they should release Maddox for some schmuck who was cut from another team.  Maddox has played effectively when healthy.  He was healthy all of 2021.  He hasn't had significant injuries that should impair his functionality.

Siposs hasn't gotten any better.

KR is inconsequential with the new rules.

And he inherited Elliott who is the best part of the ST units.

His job is to coach them up put them in position to make plays and he does neither.

I tire of every week watching every team have long  punt returns or long punts.

Part of it could be Howie and nic as well 

Under Chip ST regularly ranked at the top, because chip put an emphasis on having players that were good on teams.

Seems since he left that priority went with him, dint get me wrong I'm glad chip is gone he was awful and I wish the priority on special teams when he left would have stayed.

Covey's returns improved in the latter part of the season because the blocking improved.  I do think part of it is the lack of investment in ST players.  Of course kickoff returns just don't have the importance they had previously.

Is there a better GM out there who reads the room? That OL group is trash. On the other hand, I'd probably roster everyone of those young guys listed here. Garner can count at safety/cb hybrid, and dump Wallace and Evans. Keep the 7 cornerbacks with Goodrich and Ricks. It's almost a no brainer. Keep one or both of the safeties left over on the practice squad.
