At what positions?

He’s going to be our punter, kicker and RS. Versatile freak beasts can save you multiple roster spots.

5 star thread

I am going to just bump it every 5 minutes.

Those playoff beers are gonna hit hard

I'm shocked Howie hasn't made a trade yet

So is it Boston Scott and Justin Evans returning kickoffs?

I was just about to post the same thing.

I have zero interest in talking about the Phillies so I don't, but I have even less interest in reading about people fighting over what's off topic and what's not.

I come here to talk about eagles if there is discussion about the sixers or civil war or something else I don't care about I scroll down, when I scroll through two pages of bickering about what's off topic and reporting off topic stuff that's more annoying than the off topic stuff I don't care about

Having said that with the most recent cuts I'm curious who the eagles PR is going to be, not really concerned with KR as with the new rules it's obsolete ☹️

Maybe Howie has his eyes on a guy they think will get cut, maybe they're hoping covey makes it past waivers and they can re sign him after the dust settles and roster is more set.

As of now though they don't really have a PR which is a problem.

It seems like the Eagles are keeping the 53 who they thought they would lose if they didn't keep them.  Or, the best 53. They aren't doing their game day roster today.

Versatile Freakbeasts (and stars) will do everything on offense and special teams.  Nolan Smith will be getting a lot more snaps than people think.

I predict that Nolan Smith does not play a single snap on offense this year. Unless for some bizarre reason he's the deep back in a victory formation kneel down at the end of a game.

With Ngata, that leaves 8 to go.

They're going with 4 WRs it seems to start...probably claim/trade for someone

Meh. He was intriguing at first with his size but I couldn't care less if he's back on the PS or not after seeing him play.

Sermon, Sills or Opeta, Wallace, Garner, Mccollum, VanSumeren, Kyron Johnson, Goodrich

Then need room for a punter and 5th WR

If anyone has kids in school NFL Ticket is $100. For what you probably pay to send them to school you should at least get something out of it

I remember back in the day the first year I bought the ticket it was 99 bucks, eventually it was all the way up to 400😳

I think with other services they have to lower their prices to compete since they're not the only show in town anymore.

I basically think the same except Kyron stays, Robinson gets cut (unless Barnett is traded). I also think Morrow isn't safe if they wanted to keep Goodrich.

Can't see them cutting Goodrich and Garner

Pretty easy. Keep Garner and Goodrich. Dump both Opeta & Sills. And probably Justin Evans out of the rest of the lot. Good hitter but not good in coverage. Got to look for youth in these moves and put vets on PS who are capped out potential-wise.

We're pretty thin at "true" DE so I kept him over Kyron but I could see it. If we cut Robinson and trade Barnett we have just 2 DE,

DT depth is critical during the season.

I think Robinson is gone, Goodrich and Morrow make it, and Kyron gets waived or an injury settlement.

And SIlls is gone.

Marlon on the move possibly then. I can't fathom keeping 7 DT's, unless they plan to use Milton at DE more.

Why not? Still leaves them with Slay, Bradberry, Maddox, Jobe, Ringo, Ricks.

Street can play DE as well.

We dressed 6 for every playoff game. Keeping 7, when Ojomo will be a gameday inactive, is completely plausible.

Honestly, there are so many Johnsons on this team I lost track and thought Patrick Johnson was already cut so that would lead me to believe Kyron makes it, but I might be thinking of Tarron Jackson.
