That's just the thing about these final cuts we agonize over. We always worry about whether a guy will make it through waivers and are dejected when they don't. But the reality is, it's pretty rare to claim a guy on waivers who actually pans out. Last year we claimed Sermon and Book. And there was Jason Huntley the other year who was claimed after the Lions cut him. The other year they lost Togaia, who did nothing for the Colts. Jack Anderson was lost last year and he was just waived.

Yes I realize there are exceptions. Al Harris for example. But mostly it's rearranging deck chairs on the Titanic. (BTW, any other Titanic enthusiasts out there? I've been a quasi-junkie for about thirty years.)

Finally some good news on the whole Harden/Sixers front. We'll pair up Embiid with a young guy that's had some injury issues.

My mom was a teacher for 30+ years and always covered the Titanic in depth. It's fascinated me ever since.
