The Denver people I follow on Twitter seem to think so. He also graded well as a run blocker per PFF (yes, I know, PFF…).

Giants got Boogie Basham and Isaiah Simmons in a few trades this week.  Definitely adding some talent.

Basham has been a JAG to date. Nothing but a name.

Calcaterra on the outs?

Most likely.

If the Eagles were going to keep four tight ends, they should have kept Tyree Jackson. Or didn't they notice his stats in the preseason games? What morons. I sure hope someone gets fired for that blunder.

Just heard on the radio Eagles need to get down to 53 roster today.

Mark Schlereth on a reason why he was cut:

Not great technique, but looks more like a better play by the OLB.

He's a known commodity. I was really pulling for him but that last game against the Colts just really showed how limited he is. Now they can use that PS spot on a new RB, or a different position.

I highly doubt anyone is going to pick up Trey Sermon.  He didn't exactly flash in preseason.

He was never waived

either way, they can trade

He'd probably have more use on someone else PS at this point. We kicked the hell out of them tires and doesn't look like it's going to work out.

2 of our 4 RBs are made of glass so I'd say it's actually a worthwhile practice squad ro sign onto as a RB.

Makes sense, our waiver odds suck

Actually like the move and taking a chance. I dont think he’s ever going to be a starting caliber guy but i do think he can be a really solid no. 2 tight end

While Ballard imposed a cutdown day deadline for a deal, it doesn’t mean he won’t be traded in the 4 weeks he’s on PUP. Still would be surprised if we ever saw him wear a Colts uniform again

Except that he pushed Albert past the hole and the RB walked into the end zone behind him. His job is to stop the runner, not devote himself purely to the TE.

looked to me like albert o did his job.  guy didn't make the tackle.

I’m guessing Howie told the Broncos and Colts the first one to take our 6 for the player and your 7 gets dibs. I guess Indy wanted more for Taylor.

I said 'better', not 'good'.

He's got WR speed (4.49 at 258), so they can be patient with his blocking and use him as a H-back and see if he can graduate Stoutland U.

That's fine that you feel that way... could get another RB on the PS though. Doesn't have to be Sermon.

Good bet they will roster Ojomo today and IR him tomorrow.  Someone cut today will be back.

They may also bring back vested vets after week 1.

They probably use the roster spot from IRing Ojomo to bring in a punter right?
